The biggest turn off for me is a woman with a bush under her arms. I will get up and leave if she takes her shirt off and thats what I see. No matter how beautiful she is. If she has no more self respect than this, I dont want any part of the other stinking parts of her.

John, I believe you hit the nail on the head with Dave. He has not denied being a closet homo. Guess the old professor was right again!

I've never understood how hair removal has anything to do with hygiene. What makes body hair unhygienic? If hair makes you so dirty then why don't girls shave their heads? Why don't men shave their underarms and legs. The simple truth is this Girls and Boys: You've been duped.
Before 1915 (and before sleeveless dresses) American girls didn't shave their pits. Girls didn't start shaving their legs until WWII when shorter skirts became more popular.
Some advertized hair removal as necessary for hygiene (cough... Gillette) but for the most part hair removal started as a fad, and has become so ingrained in American culture that if you ask most people they'll tell you that girls with body hair are dirty or unhygienic. All because they are simple-minded enough to turn a blind eye truth and strange double standard that after a shower Men are clean as a whistle underarm hair and all...
What's even more perplexing is that women endure the time-consuming, sometimes painful, and over a lifetime quit costly expense of hair removal.
But there's more to it than that. We have teeth to chew, and eyes to see, and body hair is there for a reason too! Have you ever seen a dog sniffing another dog's butt? One reason they do this is because form those smells one dog can assess many details about the other dogs age, health, mating status and so on. We humans do things a little differently thank goodness, but smell is so important just the same. Scientists are discovering more and more that pheromones (smells we give off) and olfactory senses (sense of smell) play a huge part in mating. If you don't like the smell of you mate after a morning jog or stint at the gym, chances are it's not going to work out. But these scents, that normally are spread into the air via sweat distributed throughout the underarm hair (where they have more surface area thus a better chance of filling the hair) are all but lost in the name of good hygiene.
Take a bath every day, use soap, and there's really no need for most people to even wear deodorant. Girls stop wasting your time and money shaving; it's just not important. Eat right, live healthful and give off some good scents.

How can I deny something that does not exist within me? Are you going to deny that you like smooth hairless armpits on a woman because it reminds you of 10 year old girls you would like to go to bed with? Does that make you a closet pedophile?

When life gets too hectic, sometimes I don't shave them. Like right now. I've got a good 1/4 inch going. Thanks for reminding me.

You may not care but we care when we are stuck sitting beside you on a bus and the hairy mess under your arms stinks up the whole bus.

Yeah it took a little while since I don't waste my time like you guys waiting to see how long it's going to take to respond to your sexually repressed postings. Oh and by the way its "inner" feelings, not "inter" feelings. Why don't you take a year off or so and learn how to spell a word or two. As for my "INNER" feelings, I don't have any. I have them all outside because I have the guts to do it. Quite unlike you people.

I doubt the college will allow me the time off from teaching just because some idiot thought I needed to learn to spell. Its called typo you moron. My assistant usually proofs all my letters so I am used to someone correcting my typos.
Go back to reading your male porn sites Dave. You fit in better there anyway. And I am very proud of you for coming out of the closet. Bet your parents are very proud too.

Dave is right. Armpit shaving literally just started out as a marketing scheme for the razor companies to make more money. It wasn't until 1915 when one company ran an ad campaign to convince women to shave their armpits that they started shaving, and it worked so well that it's completely entrenched in our culture.

And Jackson? Ahahahahaha. All I can do is laugh at you. Let me go out on a limb and guess that you don't shave your armpits? If armpit hair on women is so nasty and dirty, then it must be even more disgusting on men, who generally sweat more.

I love that you're so freaked out by armpit hair that you believe women can't POSSIBLY stop shaving for any other reason than laziness, low self-esteem, or lack of self-respect. Honestly, I think it's fucking hilarious. Guess what: I'm a woman and I don't shave my armpits. It's not for any of those reasons. I don't shave my armpits because I have TOO MUCH self-respect and pride in myself to be ashamed of my body hair and scrape it off. Do you really think that it's the women with low self-esteem who don't shave? With all the bullshit that we face (see: you), it takes a lot of confidence to walk around with hairy armpits. But really, all that you make me want to do is show off my armpit hair as much as I possibly can because I'm damn proud of it.

Blacks don't shave their armpits because they have so many fat rolls from Bojangles that they can't quite reach their pits. They don't shave their legs either cause it requires too much exercise.
