who ever wrote this paragraph is not well educated and has a bad sense of humor. first of all, why would u want to race as a career?? Street racing is something you do in your free time. Id rather get a legit job where i make lots of money and then spend the majority of that money on my car. And as for ricer racers being delinquits....thats the most ignorant thing iv ever heard! Im a middle class kid but i have tons of filthy rich friends that have nice tuner cars that race on the highway and do tons of other bad shit like stealing from people's houses. I love to street race but i am very careful when doing s. Such as making sure there are no other cars in a quarter mile radius and what not. But then again i just turned 17, so what do i know.....cant wait till i get my cold air intake from ebay!!!
No matter how careful you are it is still a bad idear. As long as you are racing on an open coarse you do not have any control.Even hitting a small dog at 120mph can lead to your death.Try the SCCA ,I learned a lot about car control.Control = speed

QUOTE who="None of your business"]If you all had an education you could make big bucks racing. But of course drug addicts and idiots like you can only break laws. I see you in the welfare line or morgue in time. What a drain on the community you are. I guess your parents are proud. But then they are losers too I guess. Not much disipline in your family. Too bad we dont have a draft. Make a man out of you. All I see here is a bunch of delinquints.
Good luck in the homeless shelters. And you are not like most. You are the exception. Your parents must be criminals or inbreeds. Life will catch up to you and I will be laughing all the way to the bank.......... I have been out of college for some time now, I have been and participated in numerous UNSANCTIONED racing events. For someone who doesn't undestand the passion that we feel for racing, and whos got the fastest ride, whos done the best mod, its a collection of people who get together and have fun. I am all for charlotte having a drag strip--from 16 to 30 until my daughter was born, I raced my 67 Chevelle SS, that would turn an 11.5 in the quarter mile, there is always risk, but remenber ther is a risk in just stepping out your front door---those 14 years were some of the best times of my life----everyone be safe--peace out

Timmy I think your incorrect about your comment on that guys supra and how stock they don't have that much hp out of factory, no the supra doesn't have that much out of factory, but japan does make cars with that much hp out of factory for example the new skyline is pushing almost 700hp out of factory

There is no replacement for displacement. Doubt that riceburner would hold a candle to a Z06.

You mean there is no replacement for "TORQUE". Displacement doesn't mean squat.

[Quote\Im in shock, acutally, from all this stupidity.
You people arnt racers. This isnt racing. Its speeding. Which IS aginst the law. Its stupid to race on public streets.
I own an acutal racecar. And let me tell you, people who race, in an orginized fashion laughs every time one of you calls yourselves a "racer".
The only good thing about this is, according to stastics, most of you will wind up dead beacause of this. Serves you right far as Im concerned.
Hell with you. I just hope you dont take some innocent commuter with you.
I really wish the police would crack down on this. Impound cars, mandatory 5 years, then public service after you get out.
You wanna race? Do it the right way. Stay off the streets you pansey assed spoiled brats./Quote]
well as far as pansy goes, the way I see it we street racers have more balls than you pussy-ass track racers simply because we race on the streets where the environment is uncontrolled. Living in a laoroatory is living yes but living in the world is dangerous and more exciting, the same goes for racing. I'm not a spoiled brat I send my own money on everything I do to my car but you on the other hand having your own racecar, if you are racing in big events you are the spoiled one because sponsors pay for professional racer's cars and modifications. I agree it is dangerouse, if you do it wrong. Not all street racers race on the highway or on crowded streets, only the stupid ones do. Every last one of you in here saying that we think we are bullet proof is ignorant, the truth is I am not bulletproof I happen to be allergic to bullets, but things that have happened in my life lead to me not giving a shit about what happens to me, I do, however care what happens to others so I race where there is no traffic. If organized racers laugh every time we call ourselves racers then they are either stupid or afraid that we will go straight-edge and get into track racing and kick your asses. There are some that say most imports aren't fast I can easily tell you that you are wrong, I know cars that can beat Subaru's easily and no car is as good in a circuit or sprint as the Nissan Skyline R34 Zspec. I know cars that beat the new V6 mustangs all day long and I have personally beaten a '96 mustang from a roll so imports are not slow. As for those wishing death upon street racers....thats just stupid, you keep saying how if we get into an accident while racing we'll kill someone like you so if you wish death on us in effect you wish it upon yourself. Most of you in here that are downtalking street racers are hypocrites and the rest of you are hybrid-driving pussies.
Some people don't have enough money to buy a "real race car"
Im not rich, so for me to race, i have to buy shit car then tune it
very very fun btw

Just because you spent $200 at AutoZone or advanced auto.....does not make you a street racer. Kids.
