Do you see how stupid you are? Your first assumption is that all of the lost jobs are for people from the North! You have all but admitted that people from the South could never get a high-level technical job.

Here is a good place for you to read about all the yankee misery in IBM. You can read for hours. Hope you enjoy as much as I do everyday. They have not gotten raises for years and fear getting fired every single quarter of every single year. One by one them they are going to contract labor at greatly reduced wages without benefits, or their jobs offshore to India.

I have been reading the whining and crying these union loving yankees have been doing for over a year now. It is one of the highlights of my day. They actually think like you do that they truly possess some "high-level technical jobs" skills as you phrase it. It's 2010. They are a dime a dozen if they don't mind living in India and working as contract labor without benifits that is. Sixth graders can now do the programs these overpaid scared yankees are doing. Feel free to pass it on to any of your fellow "high-level technical" yankee buddies and tell them I wish them for this approaching holiday season a "Merry Foreclosure to all and to all a Good Riddance" this coming holiday season. Here's hoping many of your family and friends are IBMers.

If you read the article, it says that most would be hired back as contract employees, so jobs not lost....just reporting to a new "employer", but still working at IBM - that is what outsourcing means, in case you didn't know.

Why would someone rejoice in someone losing a job? If everyone moved back to the north, you don't think it would hurt your economy?

If high tech jobs are a dime a dozen as you put it, why are only people from the North satisfying the need? Once again, you have indirectly put your own people down. Secondly, if the work can be done by a 15 year old Indian kid, why aren't Southern adults able to do the same work?

What you really fail to see is that a loss of a job for an American, is a loss of a job for America. You are no real American if you are pleased to see any American lose their job. You are an intellectual misfit.
