After hearing both John Lassiter and Anthony Foxx I'm still undecided. Lassiter comes across as the most sincere and best informed on the issues but Foxx has a lot of enthusiasm and desire to move Charlotte forward.

Have you made up your mind? Who would you vote for if the election were held today?

Fox has some of the same characteristics as Obama as he has no experience in management or dealing with budgets. Fox also has the same ability in his speech presentations to make you think that he may be qualified. I don't think i'm going to take a chance that he may be another Obama,my vote goes to Lassiter.

I going with Foxx because I think that he has a clearer vision of Charlotte's future. Lassiter has a lot of executive experience and talks about running Charlotte like a business. However, that's the city manager's job. Foxx talks about attracting new businesses and technologies, which is basically the mayor's job. This is primarily why I'm going to vote for him.

What if they were both white or black? Take the color out, learn what each candidate stands for and proposes, and then decide. Voting along racial or other superficial lines has all too often elected yahoos who then go on to cause a lot of mischief.

Nick Mackey for mayor! Write him in!!!

We didn't have much choice in the presidential election.

Picking the lesser of two (sometimes three) evils is getting old.

I like John Lassiter. He gave very direct answers and didn't beat around the bush like Foxx. Foxx didn't come across as very knowledgeable about Light Rail and how it was funded. Nor did he give the right answer about extending it to UNC-C. He looked bewildered by the question.

Anthony Foxx did well on the TV debate but Lassiter seemed to know more about Charlotte's problems. I'm still undecided. Lassiter is obviously very smart while Foxx has a very positive personality. Lassiter is a more polished speaker while Foxx is more laid back and relaxed.

The face of Charlotte is black again. Tough luck on that one when you're trying to be a world-class city.

Well, it's a moot point now. Good luck and best wishes, Mayor-Elect Foxx

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Sagittarius

A loved one gets hold of the wrong end of the stick today, causing endless hassle and fuss. They're likely to get upset in the process, so you have to calm them down, and that could lead to a squabble. You may also have to cope with discord when discussing family matters, with certain people getting bogged down in daft details that you think have nothing to do with the main issue.
