I found a rotting outside joist, door, and floor. Need someone with experience to figure out how it can be repaired as the area is load bearing. Needs to be someone who can crawl under a house so an old-timer likely wouldn't want this job.

Would love to find someone in/near Mt. Holly as I'm sure I'll be coming up with more projects in the near future.

Thanks. I'll give them a shout if Jason Moore can't get it done or comes in too high,

Jason Moore likely could have done the job but was more expensive than I thought a carpenter should be.

David Schmidt took a look and just wasn't interested.

I've now found someone named Robert Reno in Mt. Holly that agreed to take on the project.

Update: Robert Reno and his partner Curtis Holmes - good workers, good quality, good rates.

I know a guy who pulls a cart behind a bike that says he does good carpentry work. Only charges $50 a job.
