I am glad the new news anchor for the am morning news got a new job..........but at the expense of Lenise Ligon????????? Please....She was great!! Actually better than great. No I do not know her and yes I am white...many will ask that...But she is what made the morning news. I even have a child who is 19 today who has watched her during getting ready for high school each morning. Regardless about going in a new direction....you made a poor call. She could have easily adapted to new direction. Lenise was a personalble person and made you feel as if she was talking to you personally. If your meaning of going in a new direction is what you are airing now..........sorry. I had to switch because your morning girl is not it!!! I miss John!! Is he next???? Sorry you made a bad decision......

When Barbara is without John she simply tanks! She's slow on transitions her humor is ....not humorous. Lenise was lively in the morning!!

Barbra is just fine, but i miss Lenise. She was such a breath of fresh air at 5am that most mornings i didn't mind getting up because she was going to be on. Its not the same without her. I wonder why they would let her go? It makes no sense. Just goes to show you that it's pretty much the same story at any job, not matter if you work at a sheet-metal shop, a fast food place or an award winning news station, work place politics are everywhere.

I loved Lenise. In fact, when I noticed she wasnt on, and surely couldnt been on vacation, I contacted her. WBTV wanted to go into a new direction. But without Lenise, it is pointless. She is happy now with her new job and she knows many of us love her and miss her. I love John and Chris too! Go APP STATE!
