You know, a good war is what we all need to get our minds off of Obamacare and socialized welfare. Instead of providing health insurance for some of our citizens who haven't any medical services whatsoever, and placing food on the table of our hungry, we can focus our attention on a weak foreign power and send our sons and daughters into harms way for a reason that no one can explain. At least by taking that action we can be assured that our tax money will be spent on another noble purpose and not wasting it for those in real need.
By the way, how do you feel about the DOJ not charging your boy Zimmermann? Bet you're thrilled ......

Well, that is only part of the problem. They ARE getting paid which is stupid on top of stupid. Around $250,000,000 per day and so those 800,000 have only accounted for around $3 billion of the $17 billion loss.

I haven't seen anyone wiped out by Obamacare. Tell me about those who are.

If they are both teachers, they should consider applying for Obamacare. With the salary of a teacher, they should qualify for the government supplement and their premium may actually bel lowered..

Strange that you would say that. I am not a party person but ideologically my views are more in tune with republicans in that I oppose abortion, oppose more gun control , oppose gay marriage,. The reason I cannot join with republicans is that I am not stupid enough to consistently vote against my own interest in favor of more tax breaks for the rich. Also, anarchy is not my favorite form of government. I have worked hard and have done ok, but I am far from rich. But I have everything I need and probably more than I deserve, so I reluctantly send in my high taxes but with the understanding that it is a bargain for the privilege of living in this great nation.

(privilege of living in this great nation) That in its self tells me you are so far up the communist minded creek it is imposable for you to comprehend ideologically of Liberty or freedom.

Notice the word, SUPPLEMENT, that is code for let the government steal/tax money from working Americans the give to Ben parents. So they can be more dependent/enslaved and obedient to the government.

In those 3 years you never got on Taxpayer for his incorrect grammar in that post; " I have wrote Burr....." Selective in your grammar and spelling policing to only chastise those who disagree with you. As far as the Cruz inauguation, you will not have to get early tickets and should be able to get VIP seating because you will be the only 2 people there. 1% approval ratings seldom win elections.

You have a point. The thing to remember is that this republican humiliating victory over themselves has already cost the US economy over 17 billion dollars. This shut down move should become the poster child for the party of stupid.
<quoted text>
You are correct. This shut down will be the poster child in 2014 and 2016. Every clip will resurface as a reminder to the American people of just what these self centered idiots did to this country. The Great Smokie Mountains National Park ranks #1 in tourist destinations with the Grand Canyon in second. This is just for starters.

These freaks don't even understand how the female reproductive system works, how the hell can we expect them to know anything about an national economy, much less a global economy?

Very true. It would possibly be a good idea to put a picture of Ted Cruz on all of our Democrat posters as a constant reminder to voters of the chaos and hardship he caused with the shutdown. Idiot!

Smart Dad. The only new car owner is the dealership. That Malibu depreciated to a Pinto the moment he drove it off the lot. Lmao.

The only place on my property that is worthy of a picture of Ted Cruz is the $hit house door. LOL. But yes you are correct. I work with the public, democrats and republicans alike are disgusted. The establishment side of the republican party needs to find their begonias and put an end to this radical 17th century clown festival (teaparty) once and for all. Even if they don't they are still out numbered. You know the old saying? "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em." I see some of that about to happen. A disconnect from stupid.

I would love to see some of the disenchanted Republicans come over to our side. Of course, they would need some basic courses on female physiology, open conversations with some LGBT people, witness hungry people's lifestyle for a month, and have non judgemental conversations with people of other faiths. If they can handle those with a certain finese, they may switch their party affiliation. Otherwise, if not, it's back on the Tea Wagon.

The only disinchanted republicans are moderates and they're right leaning liberals anyway, the rest of the party would never make it as Commucrats....they're not socialist/communist...they don't believe in big govt, much less centralized govt...they think for themselves, they don't believe the elitist of the party knows what's best for them...they don't take hand-outs, they will take a hand-up when needed...they believe in an honest days work for an honest days pay, not a free check, free housing, and free transportation in exchange for a vote...they don't believe in redistribution of wealth, if you want something it has to be earned, not given...TEA partiers don't believe in living beyond their means, most live within their budget and know the meaning of checks & balances and the importance of saving, not relying on the govt for their every need...

Yeah, as an independent, I think I'll continue to support the TEA Party!

A man on 1110am just the other day called in and said he logged on to the healthcare website to "see" what he could get and for how much. He's self employed, his wife doesn't work and she has MS. She can't be denied because of her pre-existing condition and because of his income, his deductible was going to be almost $20k with premiums a little over $1300 a month!

What the Commucrats failed to tell the American people about Obamacare is although your pre-existing condition can't be denied, if you EARN a decent living, your ass is going to pay for it! If you live off of the govt, then someone else will pay for you!
Commucrats doing what they do best, securing more votes with another social program!
Eventually the moochers will outnumber the producers....then who's going to pay the bills?
