John Boehner, republikan speaker of the house, proved the corruption by passing out PAC checks on the house floor.
<quoted text>
Been over this TSF, here's what happened, again: "In June 1995, Boehner distributed campaign contributions from tobacco industry lobbyists on the House floor as House members were weighing how to vote on tobacco subsidies.[29] In a 1996 documentary by PBS called The People and the Power Game, Boehner said "They asked me to give out a half dozen checks quickly before we got to the end of the month and I complied. And I did it on the House floor, which I regret. I should not have done. It's not a violation of the House rules, but it's a practice that‘s gone on here for a long time that we're trying to stop and I know I'll never do it again.[30] Boehner eventually led the effort to change House rules and prohibit campaign contributions from being distributed on the House floor.[31]" That's all you have from nearly twenty years ago. Here's something from the other side: The Whitewater controversy (also called the Whitewater scandal, or simply Whitewater) began with investigations into the real estate investments of Bill and Hillary Clinton and their associates, Jim and Susan McDougal in the Whitewater Development Corporation, a failed business venture in the 1970s and 1980s.

A New York Times article written during the 1992 U.S. presidential campaign reported that Clinton and his wife had invested and lost money in the Whitewater development project.[1]

David Hale, the source of criminal allegations against President Clinton in the Whitewater affair, claimed in November 1993 that Clinton, while governor of Arkansas, pressured him to provide an illegal $300,000 loan to Susan McDougal, the partner of the Clintons in the Whitewater land deal.[2] Clinton supporters regarded Hale's allegations as questionable, as Hale had not mentioned Clinton in reference to this loan during the original FBI investigation of Madison Guaranty in 1989. Only after coming under indictment for this in 1993 did Hale make allegations against the Clintons.[3]

A U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission investigation did result in convictions against the McDougals for their role in the Whitewater project, but the Clintons themselves were never prosecuted, as three separate inquiries found insufficient evidence linking them with the criminal conduct of others related to the land deal.[4] Bill Clinton's successor as Arkansas Governor, Jim Guy Tucker, was also convicted and served time in prison for his role in the fraud. Susan McDougal later served 18 months in prison for contempt of court for refusing to answer any questions relating to Whitewater, and was later granted a pardon by President Clinton just before leaving office.

The term Whitewater is also sometimes used to include other controversies from the Bill Clinton administration, especially those such as Travelgate, Filegate, and the circumstances surrounding Vince Foster's death, that were investigated by the Whitewater Independent Counsel.[5]

The defining sentence in all this is "
Boehner distributed campaign contributions from tobacco industry lobbyists on the House floor as House members were weighing how to vote on tobacco subsidies.[29] " IN OTHER WORDS, BOEHNER BRIBED CONGRESSMEN TO VOTE FOR GIVING US TAX DOLLARS TO TOBACCO COMPANIES (subsidies).
Now as for Clinton, republikans spent hundreds of millions of US tax dollars trying to get something on Clinton. The last 75 million dollars of our tax money finally proved the astounding information that Bill had lied about getting a BJ. I am not sure how that was so surprising because Southern gentlemen just do not kiss and tell. You are supposed to lie about stuff like that.

I see what your saying, only republicans distribute campaign funds, as they are supposed to by rules governing campaigns, to the Republican Party members.

Who would have guessed a politician actually following the rules.

Yes, I guess whoever judges this "clueless" is correct. I see no connection between the tragedies listed here and the mental health system, school systems, and society in general. I guess we should all go take a pill, go sit in a corner and wait for the effects. If you believe that I have some ocean front property on Grandfather Mountain to sell ya....CHEAP. This is a very serious problem that the entire country should look at because every day someone's child is looked at by someone who thinks a pill will "cure" them.

I see the problem. Its clearly all the fault of teachers and schools. They are also responsible for unemployment, the national debt, the deficit, high gas prices , a disfunctional congress,global warming and the Bengazi attack. Eliminatation of public schools will fix it all..

Allen/Gail,a nut with too much time on her hands, always judges peoples posts, the ones who don't kiss her ass, in a negative fashion.I quit taking their drugs when I finally came to the conclusion that psych drugs do more harm than good, but a lot of people are making a lot of money off of them.Psych drugs are big business.Look at how many kids are now being diagnosed as"adhd".Some people, like Allen/Gail , could benefit from a strait jacket though.Or a good ass kicking.

Better living through chemicals? The drug companies control America.Check out the side effects on these drugs.Horrendous.Also unknown to the general public, anyone on psych drugs who suddenly discontinues them, is headed for the emergency room.The chemicals they put in our food are a major contributory to the cancer rate in America, and Alzheimers disease is skyrocketing. In 1950, almost no one in America weighed over three hundred pounds.Now, its commonplace.The food we consume is trash.

It's best to be on the grape fruit diet. Most heavy people drink sodas. Sodas contribute to weight gain. If people stop drinking sodas for a year it is proven that you would lose 30lbs a year. It's not just the food we eat. Fast food places should be outlawed. Hell i'm tired of seeing over weight women and men can't breath cause they're too over weight. Instead of our government worring about this dam missile, that's going to tear Guam up all to hell. They should be out lawing these burger joints.

There ain't a dam thing you can do to prevent what companies add to food. If they want to add ecoli, then we got it. If they want to add anthrax, then we got that too.
