on a serious note. If you do move to singapore and have business in the city, you might want to wear a face mask because it will take your lungs a little breaking in when ya get there . Had a nonsmoking friend live there for a year and told me it was like smoking a pack of cigs every couple hours.

<quoted text>Really AZ, try wearing a bra one time and getting equal pay. Remember the Civil Rights Act included women. There are women in this world TODAY that are continually being discriminated against, by black men I might add. So cry me a river buddy.
Now ask Silver if he is for women's demands for equal pay?
Democrats fight for womens rights, not republicans.

Arnold, again get real. Republicans, Dems, Independents, Green Party, Communist, Socialist, they ALL treat women unfairly. Pay has nothing to do with men making comments about a woman's body or what they'd like to do with her sexually. You act like passing laws force people to treat people fairly and with respect. You can pass all the laws/acts you want to and it still won't make people from any political party stop calling you a "coon" and me (pardon this please) "sweet t*ts. Is it acceptable no, but that's the way the it goes. You're under the assumption that somehow you being discriminated based off color makes it worse than me being discriminated against based off gender. Again, until people find respect and fair treatment of one another within themselves, you can pass all the laws and acts you want to but it won't change a thing. Not too long ago my daughter was showing pictures of us on vacation and a co-worker said "that's you mom, what a nice rack." My daughter said "yeah, that's why daddy married her, he doesn't have yo put one up in the back of his pick-up for the guns, he can just use her." It goes on daily Arnold and I can choose to let it irk me to death or just say "bless 'em and their stupidity" because I know I can't change them.
This is a political thread first, so I think the main point here is that we legislate as democrats what we can to make things better and more equal for all. We cannot legislate what people call you but we can make people pay fairly.
The party of Arnold and I are of is for equal rights and fairness. They fight those who treat women poorly. We can only do so much, as we try to keep the most amount of freedom and yet have the most amount of fairness and equality.
Your party does not.

Arnold, did you even read my post? Will Lilly Ledbetter and her Fair Pay Act, make women stop being treated like a piece of meat in the work environment? You've been on here whining about being discriminated against because of color and not once did you mention pay, but somehow when the women speak of how they're treated unfairly in the work place, it suddenly becomes about the Democrats and money. Will more money make a woman happy in a work environment where she' treated like a two dollar hooker?
Democrats push the laws that make for sexual harasment in the workplace to be illegal.
Again, we do what we can, your party does nothing here.

There are laws about a woman being treated like a two dollar hooker. It's called Sexual Harrassment. I never whined about my experience. I said that once you had the experience, then to see it continue in unsprupulous and deceitful ways is hard to take. But, you will never understand. You don't seem to have much empathy for people in other situations to begin with. You just keep voting Republican and still complain about the situation when they are killing any efforts of fair pay to women.
Seems these republicans are not aware of the laws we liberals made to protect them.

Oh please give me a break Arnold. Allow me to use some of your examples of how you know you're treated unfairly because of your skin color; "I know they're talking about me but they don't say it where I can hear it" or "I know which of my neighbors don't like black people" or "I know which of my neighbors are Republicans" etc. The same way you seem to KNOW all these things because you're black is the same way I KNOW when men are treating women the same way. You can't get someone for sexual harassment because we "feel" they're talking about us or from subtle nuances, there has to be definitive proof. I've had the experience, but somehow when you get pinned in a corner, race discrimination prevails over any other discrimination and the Democrats always have the right answers. Equal pay is great, but which would you rather have equal pay or respect? I'll take respect and hope those that discriminate against me because of gender whether it's through subtle words and nuances or in pay and hope they take the money they cheat me out of and buy themselves some respect. There's some things money can't buy Arnold and the Civil Rights Laws that cover both you and ME, don't mean squat to many people and the sooner you figure it out, the happier and less paranoid you'll be. Since you have a degree in psychology you should know, the only people/person you can control is yourself. Stop blaming everyone that doesn't agree with you for not having empathy, maybe they understand what you can't, you can't control others and when you try, the only person that ends up on the losing end of the frustration stick is you. Is it worth it, because you still haven't changed anything.
Again, just what do you wish us to do about it? We(liberals, not republicans)make laws to do what we can. But evidently that is not appreciated by you one bit here.
