Now, I like that. Jesus made many references about the sheep and the goats, with the sheep being his true followers. I guess that puts you on the goat team. Let's keep it like that. Silver is the leader of the goat team. That's where you fit.
Who's talking about Jesus? We're talking about hurricanes and people dumb as sheep. BTW, since you only read the red print in the Bible, the lamb (Jesus) also is referred to as a lion 29 times. It's known as an anomaly. He will no longer be the lamb led to slaughter, but He will be the lion that comes back to take care of business because lambs aren't known for their mean disposition or strength. I'm good with the goats, but you can call us the lions if you want and Silver can still be the leader.

'You want me to check their backpacks for weapons, wage war on drugs and sexually transmitted diseases, and raise their sense of self esteem and personal pride.
'You want me to teach them patriotism and good citizenship, sportsmanship and fair play, and how to register to vote, balance a checkbook, and apply for a job.
'You want me to check their heads for lice, recognize signs of antisocial behavior, and make sure that they all pass the final exams.
'You also want me to provide them with an equal education regardless of their handicaps, and communicate regularly with their parents in English, Spanish or any other language, by letter, telephone, newsletter, and report card.
'You want me to do all this with a piece of chalk, a blackboard, a bulletin board, a few books, a big smile, and a starting salary that qualifies me for food stamps.
'You want me to do all this, and then you tell me......

TSF, I love it!!! You gave me my laugh of the day. I'm going to copy this and make it larger for my dad, he'll love reading it to people in church.

Matthew 25: 31-46 tells your story....but you will never understand it regardless of what it says and how plainly it is written. You choose money over people's needs. Continue on as a member of Silver's goat farm. That's where have given you allegiance.

There is no interpretation needed. It is in plain English.
"But Lord, when did we see you hungry and in need?", the people asked on Judgement Day.

"As you did to the least of these my brothers, you did the same to me", Jesus replied.

What kind of 'interpretatiion' do you need from that?

You have chosen money over Jesus....plain and simple.

Arnold, you believe the scriptures the way you want and I will do the same without judging your interpretation. Please reserve your judgement of me about my religious beliefs, since I'm certain no one died and made you God within the last hour. Have a nice evening.

I am certainly not God and never made any such claims. I just understand English well enough to know what was said and written in the scripture. I think you know in your heart that I am right, and that any interpretation is not needed. It plainly says what it says. Whether you choose to practice it or not is entirely your business, but you certainly cannot deny the words. And, I wish you a nice evening as well. Remember. Those are the words of Jesus...not mine.

Yes, I have faith in America. Call me a fool if you will, but I see the history of America and I think it is holding strong to its core values.
I have zero faith in a god, as I have not seen a god do a damned thing.

Remember, your the guy who's close and personal friends with a former drug dealer turned model citizen....Who also suffered tremendous setbacks and misgivings because of Jim Crow era laws while attending undergraduate and graduate school, all because, they were trying to meet a quota.

The state of Texas is going to use taxpayer money to train certain teachers and school administrators in the use of firearms. This training will go beyond mere concealed carry training. The Israelis use this system, but their teachers are precisely chosen and HIGHLY TRAINED! Students are also trained to go to preselected areas if the school in case of trouble, the Israelis use concentric rings of undetectable defenses in the school also. This has been HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL!!

Best I can tell, Silver doesn't like you, your friends or the fact you used your minority status to attend college for your graduate and post graduate degrees. That's just my intrepretation and you may interpret it differntly. What's the old saying "you say potato and I say potahto"? Could be the case here. Just ask him if you don't understand.
