Actually, I have republican friends also. I just try to avoid the backward ignorant prejudiced small minded ones of any flavor. I also have the personality defect of a slow but nuclear temper when it is finally detonated. That is the reason I avoid the afore mentioned ones.

"My plans are perfect.May GOD have mercy on General Lee, for I shall have none" Union Major General Joseph Hooker, before the Battle of Chancellorsville, where heavily outnumbered Confederate forces defeated Federal troops at The Battle of Chancellorsville. As I watch the situation in Newtown, CT unfolding, my heart and prayers go out to everyone there. Let's keep these people in our thoughts and prayers. Sad day indeed.

And they just keep happening over and over again with much more frequency. Free to be mentally ill with access to a lethal weapon. It seems the answers for stopping these tragedies are no where in site. At least not one we have figured out or implemented to date. My sympathies to the families..What a horrible night mare.

You know AZ, last summer in trying to sell lady a .22 rifle, her NICS/FBI check came back "further review", a response would be provided in 3 days. She asked why, I explained they do not tell me why. She said "if I have been committed, would that have something to do with it?" I told her yes probably. 3 days FBI called back and said to proceed with the sale. She picked up the rifle and explained she had been "medically" cleared. You are correct in this is a nightmare for all concerned.

Now we have Silver trying to look up my personal history like a stalker.
Now why don't you just fuck off of my personal life?
Makes me wonder about Robert Stowe and his Romney landslide predictions....wrong again, Robert. I wonder what his excuse is now?

To predict when someone will 'snap' will never be solved. So, in the meantime, the beat goes on and many more incidents are waiting in the wings to claim their innocent victims.

Stowe has been scarce since the election.I guess his"money and his support"didn't make much difference in the outcome of the election after all.

Arming our teachers and school administrators seems repellent on the surface. But these school butcheries seem to continue unabated. Our society seems to be warped beyond repair.Next thing you know, department store Santas will need to carry Uzis.

You act as if there is no life beyond this one, and that accumulating money is all there is. I believe that life will be judged in the universe in the afterlife by the intangibles that one took care of and made a priority while living...those that the Bible you like to quote stated were more important and necessary. Obviously, you can't see that. Your hearse will not be followed by a U Haul or a bank statement. "What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul". I hope you will at some point change your priorites and realize this spiritual truth.
You have the right to express your opinion and seek your own inner peace or peace of mind. My peace of mind comes with making more money and improving my family's wealth. I have not forgotten the times when we had nothing.

But because I do not support intergration and feel life would be far more simple if we were all were segregated, that God would deny me entrance into his kingdom? Well, that is my cross to bear and will do so proudly. But because I choose to not be friends with you, what commandments of God have I broken? I have not taken from you. I have not robbed from you. I have not coveted your wife. I believe in God and believe he is the only God to exsist. I have not beared false witness to anyone. So, what commandments of God have I violated because I don't want to get to know you or be friends with you? I am not a theologian and only a man, not God. Perhaps you can enlighten us all with your wisdom on the matter.

You may want to begin with a cultural study of Palestine in the time of Jesus and how the Jews of the day totally separated themselves from any Samaritan, who they felt were the half breed dogs of society who they were superior to in their own eyes as well as the eyes of God. Jesus broke this Judaic law by not only associating with them, but giving them comfort and hope. His parable of 'The Good Samaritan' who took care of his brother who had been robbed and beaten, angered the status quo Jews because in the parable he had the Priest and the Levite pass him by on the other side. "Who was this man's brother?", Jesus asked, and this was one point that angered them and began their plot to kill Jesus. You seem to share the same view as the Jews of the day in your notion that one race is superior to the other, and therefore, you seem to have not learned the lesson that Jesus taught. He also dined with tax collectors, thieves and whores...and this also angered the status quo Jews. You have expressed on here that because I have befriended a person who served time in his youth in prison for selling drugs, that I am guilty of the same, or that I am a low life for this decision. Jesus said you would know his followers 'by their fruits'. Jesus would have befriended the same person and would have forgivin him for his past sin because he now lives in the light of goodness. I am certainly not a perfect human being by any stretch, but I do take the words of Jesus seriously and try my best to follow his example as much as I humanly can. How are you attempting to follow his example by your views of total segregation?

God will certainly segregate. "The meek shall inherit the earth." "It will be easier for a camel to pass through an eye of a needle than a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." Translation: Standing room only in hell!
