You see, the whole point of why I asked the question from the start was to see what in comparison is better, specifically. What governmental structures are better than ours and why?
We can only improve if we can be specific about the why's and why not's, so we can analyze them.
I'll start with Denmark.Low crime rate. They also are not required to spend a huge amount of their GDP on being the worlds"policeman".Hi gh standard of living. Can't post links with this phone, check out Wikipedia and the Encyclopedia Britannica, plus World Almanac, you may be surprised at the quality of life enjoyed by the Sadness.

Since you were in the "neighborhood" of these countries, I would think you could offer an opinion as to the comparison. As you said, this is not a "classroom".

Perhaps if you hadn't gone to Germany with the notion that it would be just like America you would of enjoyed your stay more.
Now why would you assume that is what I did? I had no idea what to expect, nor did I have a choice in going there or not.
I do not regret the experience though, and did enjoy it to some degree.
If I were on vacation there, I am sure I would have enjoyed it more so. Being in the army there, I had to endure the harsh weather for long hours very often. The site we worked on was on a hilltop. Some here may consider it a mountaintop. Summers were short.

I cannot really judge the government there, as I was not really affected by it so much, as I lived, played and worked mostly on base.
The local town was small, and had very few conveniences I was used to in America.
It was some beautiful country though. I did get to go snow skiing in the big mountains.

Yes, Silver admits he is black and white. I am trying to point out why being so black and white is problematic.
Yes, sometimes I too am black and white. If you wish to point out one, maybe I can explain why I am black and white on the issue. But broadly stroking my ways without specifics is not so productive.
I believe the republican theory of economics is not all absolutely wrong. I just personally believe it is not the best for America, nor is moral. I believe it is dangerous to a stable economy, IMO.
I believe the republican theory on religion in government is counterproductive to a civil, equal and free society.
It is of my opinion, and that of many of the founding fathers of this country.
You see, I have opinions, and I have expert opinions to back up my opinions. I have evidences of history to support my positions. If someone questions my claims, I am open to providing those sources and making my case. I rarely see this from the opposing side on this forum. Often, I just see them whine about why they must justify their positions to me. Some even openly acknowledge their mind is closed on the subject and thus refuse to discuss it.
ha ha ha, you have had my name in almost all of your postings the last couple of days. I must cause you some seriously sleepless nights.

My wife made the decision for us to leave and my father told me long ago listen to the woman. I did. I love my wife and will do anything for her. Even if it means selling off all assets and moving to a third world country. Wait...we are doing that..

and it is still not enough for the democrat socialist on here and across America.

I do remember how the Germans did not allow Nazi flags or anything of the sort. I certainly do not agree with flying such flags, but I certainly do not agree with banning any freedom to do so.

From what I understand, America has more religious freedom than most European countries. You would be surprised to hear some of the non secular policies of the UK.

Personally I think many European countries get a bit to socialistic. There is a balance to be had.

As I have said several times, it is fine with me if you leave. Not sure why you are in denial about that. I just like to point out how silly and ironic I think it is.

I keep pointing to you because you make such ridiculous claims and are such an extremist. You are here most consistently and make many claims.
You typify all that I see wrong with the republican party. You typify all I see that is wrong of the republican mentality. You are the republican poster child. Ironic you flee from America. This typifies the way republicans cannot accept democracy and our constitution.

I am kind of surprised you are so subservient to your wife. Seems to contradict how you approach politics. You are unwilling to make any compromises in politics as is the party line agenda.
Seeing how you are such an ass here, maybe you understand that protesting against your wife would make you lose her quickly, so you just bow down to her wishes. Not exactly what I feel is a healthy relationship, but if that is good for you, then fine.

You cause me no loss of sleep though. Your lack of good rebuttals, prove to me, I am on the correct side.

OK, but what is it about their government that causes the low crime rate, in your opinion? Why is it they might have a high standard of living? I am not disputing your claims, so no link needed for now. I just wish to find what is the key to success here.

I don't have an answer for you Miley but I am keeping all options open. I do find it somewhat funny that china elects new leadership and said no thanks to the idea of modeling their government after western style governments like ours. That may not mean anything to you but it does tell me china will eventually come calling to settle what's owed. Hopefully, my kids will follow my advice and leave as well.
And you the last son bitch to say any about anybody's wife. Perhaps if you weren't so full of crap or a fag your wife still be around. Must of been hard for your old lady to compete with all the other meat gazers.
Seeing that China has such governmental interference in their internet and other media outlets, there is no way it is close to a real democracy.

My favorite quote of all time is by James Madison.

"A popular government without popular information
or the means of acquiring it
is but a prologue to a farce or a tragedy, or perhaps both.
Knowledge will forever govern ignorance:
And a people who mean to be their own Governors,
must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives."

"The the vastness of the US consumer economy means that the national treasury enjoys the highest tax receipts on products in the world. Most recent statistics put it at $809 billion, ahead of Germany ($271 billion). However, by far the greatest percentage of total taxes is provided by personal income and profits, at almost 91%." Again, for Silver and Bacon.
