<quoted text>Yes, it is in debt. Did I dispute this? Nope. So what do we do about it? Well if you compromise,I would think the issue could be addressed. But until then, it will likely stay the same.
My opinion is, American could see the tax ideas of Obama were more in line with reducing that debt than Mitt's.
Lowing taxes is not a path to reduced debt. Increasing the military is not a path to reduced debt.
Now maybe the electorate felt neither party was going to reduce the debt. Then it seems as if they at least wanted someone that spent money on building America, not the military.
That's why the electorate left the Republicans in charge of the money!

Higher learning is a privledge, not a right. Private schools are private for a reason too.
Republicans don't fight education tooth and nail, just the teachers unions that leave inadequate teachers in the classroom because they have tenure. What's more important, the children or the teachers tenure?

The top 10% pay 50% of the taxes already, the bottom 40% pay 6% of the taxes. Are the rich not already paying their fair share?

When the 47% you emphatically defend start paying theirs, 1%ers should pay theirs.

My bad. A new CBO report has been released since these numbers came forward. The report now shows that the top 20% pay 68% of the taxes while the bottom 20% pay just .3%(three tenths of a percent).

"Democracy can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largess of the public treasury. From that time on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury, with the results that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship." (This quote has been attributed to both Sir Alex Fraser Tytler and Alexis de Tocqueville.)

Should employers all ask what party the employee is from? Your ideas are that of division.
"Obamacare requires employers to provide health care for all employees working more than 30 hours weekly, and Papa John's and other restaurants plan to get round this by reducing their full-time staff. Other chains taking this route include Olive Garden and Red Lobster."

Perhaps they should. Another "Fortune 500" company that gets it.

Duh! Income taxes are based on percentages of income. Assuming you numbers are correct, all that means is that the top 10% are making 50% of the money if they paid the same percentage rate as everyone else. They dont. They pay much less, which means the top 10% are making much more than 50% of all the money. You didn't do well in math did you? Republikans want to eliminate public education so thay can have idiots believe that the poor oppressed rich are just treated sooo unfairly. Our socialism to the rich has just become unafordable. Take more exlax and drain that republikan BS off your brain.
