I know there are some that will put the "spin" on this but this is just the beginning. There are many companies that are not announcing any layoffs...their just cutting the jobs!
Another example TEW.

"Remember those pre-election promises by employers that their staff will suffer if Obama is re-elected? Well, the workforce trimming has begun.

A Las Vegas business owner told a local radio station that he was forced to let 22 of his employees go the day after Obama won the White House a second time. In a lengthy chat with CBS affiliate 100.5 KXNT, the employer who asked to be called "David" said, quite frankly, that "elections have consequences."

While reassuring listeners that he didn't intimidate his staff into voting any particular way, "David" had no problem admitting that he did, however, spell out what could change around the workplace if Obama won.

"I explained to them a month ago that if Obama gets in office that the regulations for Obamacare are gonna hurt our business," he said. "I explained that to them and I said 'you do what you feel like in your heart you need to do, but I'm just letting you know as a warning, these are things I have to think of as a business owner.'""

It looks like you were right, doomsday is just around the corner. My cow went dry the next day after the election, the chickens stopped laying eggs, the well pump crapped out, the radiator on my truck started leaking and my tractor wouldn't start. I know this is because Obama was elected and the 1% rich will not get more tax breaks. I am quite sure none of this would have happened if Mitt the Twitt had been elected because he would have leaped tall buildings with a single bound, paid off the national debt which CONGRESS ran up, put two cars in every garage and two cvhickens in every pot. Damn it!!! My eyes are swollen and my nose is stopped up from all the whining, bitching, crying, pissing and moaning. And to think this will last for at least another 4 years!! Hell, I think I will just move to PR where my racist ass will be put out of my misery when I express my racism to the locals.

You misintrepret. I like , admire and respect Billy Graham who is 94. I will defend the elderly against attacks form anyone. Not so for Franklin, who is using his father's good name to smear around in the dirty business of politics. Its about time for Franklin to receive a Form 1040 and pay county taxes on the King Air and Cessna Caravans.

Not often, but once again we agree. The tea party candidates killed you, particularly in the Senate races. You need to take your party back or you are dead in the water for the future elections. The RNC needs a leader with guts, and not one who will appease the tea party extremists. Maybe one of your moderate Senators who was defeated in the primary maybe a good choice. You have big time work to do, or the House make up may just change in the mid term 2014 election.

Thus, all the great things Obama's going to do for the economy begins:

http://www.cnbc.com/id/49729998

As one of the posters said below this article, Obama carried California. Now many of those with probably a good lifestyle never knew what was going to hit them because the layoffs were announced after the election results. Looks like their happy asses will be moving forward, right on out the door.

Our students have contributed to this program for years. This operation is very good. He needs to get out of partisan politics. He probably loses some potential support due to his extreme political position. Sad, but true. I don't agree with any minister (of either party) being publically involved in the political landscape. And yes, this does include Jeremiah Wright.

Lu, since my daughter was about 13 years old, we started working at "Operation Shoe Box" and it's a tradition. We also get into making our shoe boxes and I'd really love to see the faces of the children that have nothing when they receive them. It bothers me to see the children in other countries without shoes walking around in trash, so during the summer I pick up flip-flops or any cheap shoes and put them in the boxes. I figure anthing is better than nothing when you don't have shoes. Working at "Operation Shoe Box" sure helps me put things in perspective and appreciate what I have.

Lu, you may have done this, but my family has always tried to take humanitarian trips to other countries and I always came back with a bittersweet feeling. I'm glad we helped, but know it will only last for a short time. This is kind of how I feel about the shoe boxes.

Yes, shoes are the best. I've helped out with shoebox more than I can say, it's a great cause. No matter, children are the innocent of the world. A friend of mine is CFO of an outreach and she goes everywhere, she said never fails to amaze her how children just roll with their situations. We are truly blessed in this country. That is unless you are in the northeast, where today if your license plate is odd number you can get gas. Tomorrow the even numbers.

Help me understand how you think this definition or any other connects the teaching of math, science, reading and writing to socialism.
I hate to burst your bubble, but you my friend live in a soverign state. In a soverignty, all persons and property belong to the soverign (king). This comes to us from old English law and is the logic behind the fact that you have to pay taxes to remain on the property that you believe (mistakenly) is yours. It is the logic behind the FACT that the state can take even your life for certain offenses, since you are the property of the state. And no, even that is is not the same as socialism.
<quoted text>
So you want to go back to the Magna carta. The document that the English Barons come up with to control an out of controls feudal King. It is obvious you have no understanding of why this document came to be. Nor do you have any understanding of how it affects this had on common man or are tax system we have today. Yours is the socialist mindset that has destroyed freedom and enslaving people to your fascist state.

I agree with you AZ, I have always found it funny how all politicians seek out religious leaders, to strengthen their voting base. I remember the President's visit with Dr.Graham and then Romney's.

Keep an eye on the stock market as these announcements and those that have yet to be made will surely cause more sell offs.
