Pro, that's sweet. I don't know how old your daughters are, but you'll need to be Superman when they turn about 15. When I worked at DSS we called it the "15 year old phenomenum." It's like your sweet, precious daughter went to bed one night and about at 15 she comes out of the bedroom one morning and like the invasion of the body snatchers happened overnight. Oh bless you child if those days are to come!!!
Unfortunately, I know what you mean, my oldest daughter just turned fifteen.

Simple minds. We have 225 army bases around the world and we spend more on our military than the whole world combined. Defence has a blank cheque that your GGGGG grandchildren will pay for. We shipped all our jobs overseas and then buy the products BACK. We are a nation of unemployed shoppers who buy on credit. We cannot be policing the whole world. We forgot about our most precious resource...AMERICANS. We lost homes in the millions, almost a billion homes went back to the bank. No jobs, no healthcare thats affordable. We are bankrupt, back in the 1930s. Be glad that you can afford the internet and pray for help. America is finished.

Just a thought...

"Businesses with 50 or more employees will have a choice beginning in 2014: they can sponsor a health plan for 100% of their workers (even those signed up for government-subsidized health insurance) or pay $750 per worker in penalties to the federal government.

A business might opt to take the penalty and do away with health insurance. Paying the annual penalty might be cheaper. So that would leave the employees uninsured, and they would have to go to state health plan exchanges to buy health coverage that could be more expensive.

Some analysts warn that another macroeconomic effect might result in years of high unemployment. They think that increased insurance costs will discourage business hiring in the next decade."

Another thought....

"Fines to employers under the employer mandate also are imposed on workers who are not full-time employees, where a combination of employees working 120 hours per month (around 30 hours per week) count as one employee."

For a small buisness, they'll just cut everyone's hours to 29 a week.

Most daughters do think their fathers are superman whether they are rich or poor! I do not envy the rich man because he will leave this world just as I with nothing. There is no doubt in my mind that you are a good and loving father. But one day your daughters will be in turmoil over your wealth left behind and your family may be divided just as my father's family.

Also,

"ObamaCare’s employer mandate will discourage business development and growth. Small firms with 50 or fewer workers will have very strong disincentives to expand. These businesses can avoid the new penalties by staying small; growth will simply add new costs and burdens. Many businesses with low profit margins are unable to pay the substantial cost of providing comprehensive insurance to all of their employees or the new taxes under ObamaCare’s employer mandate. Once companies reach 50 employees, they are likely to turn to contractors and outsource work to evade the new mandate, even if such arrangements are less efficient than directly hiring new workers."

Sorry but it does'nt take money to wear that cape. What it does take is to be a man who owns up to responsibility rich or poor! My father was the poorest white man this side of the Mississippi with five children. Through blood sweat and tears he wore that cape. He has been past away for five years now and as far as I'm concerned he still wears it like no other.

Forget all the good wishes. FK the democracy, we neglected our own and we are a nation in decline like ROME. World domination, control should not be our desire. We can't afford and don't.....policing the world. Our GGGG grandkids will be paying for our folly. 400 bridges are crumbling in this country, where's the money?? CHINA?? They almost own us.

I never said BSNBC doesn't talk about the economy but they,(Chris Matthews, Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow), do devote more time talking about the social issues than the economy.

Powell has no record of any sort of racism, yet Bacon accuses him of racism simply because see cannot fathom a republican endorsing Obama. Pretty sad mentality you morons have. I am disgusted by you and your friends here.
You are showing your true colors on a regular basis. You show the republican party as just a bunch of racist bastards.
I thought she made a great point. Powell endorsed Obama in '08 although he had no record and no experience. Now that he has experience and a failed record, Powell endorses him again. What does that say about Powell's judgement?
As far as the rest of your post, typical liberal tactics....SIN

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies.

Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, "the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

The closeness of the race in the polls, and now the impending storm to come that may effect the election...what a time to be alive. Can anybody venture the possible effect of a major storm on the outcome?

If lower taxes raises tax collections, why has that failed two times in the last 20 years? Why did Bush Sr correctly call that concept "voodoo economics"?

What planet are you living on? You support 50% of our income is being stolen by a communist/socialist government people like you keeping in power. Our property threatened and our families enslaved to support the drugies and freeloader. You’re looking to use the government to steal from people that work for a living.

So you support the Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto. Are you and Mikey are looking to destroy America and its liberties and freedoms. You want to put people in office that will use fascism to bring people in line with your communist ideals. People like you are how people like Stalin and Hitler get to power.

I'm sure having a little more than what we did would've made things easier but, I am a stonger and more self motivated individual because of my experiences of having less.
