Latest polls show Obama losing major ground in key states.
Example;
In '08 Obama won Wisc 56-42. Wisc now polling 49-49 tie according to the latest ABC poll which included a +4 sample for the democrats, that's a 7 pt decline for Obama.
The results are the same for most swing states.
Looks like the liberal attacks on the social issues aren't working, the number one issue according to EVERY exit poll.....the economy.
After the continuous smear campaign of fox news and friends, I am surprised he is doing this well.
They got you guys thinking he is not even an American, much less a good president.

It didn't take Fox News for Americans to realize that fact.

I didn't fail, I didn't try. You are beating the same tired drum. It's boring. Religion, religion, religion. Last week it was "women's rights", every media outlet in "real time" is talking about the Libya failure, You are thumping last weeks news. How cares who a private citizen endorses? Powell, who I like, I don't care who he votes for any more than he cares who I voted for.

In my lifetime, the ten commandments were removed from most government buildings. In my lifetime, prayer in schools was stopped from being mandated. In my lifetime, swearing to god in court was ended. In my lifetime, pledging to the flag can at least be opted out if the student chooses. In my lifetime, creationism was banned from public schools in the science classroom.

Keep it in the mythology sections.

It just takes Fox several times to feed the lie. Then it is digested and regurgitated by all the sheep in the pasture.

You listed what is in the news, and I am talking about what is in the news. Ever think the news knows what many are interested in? Seems it is you who is not interested in what the majority is interested in.
This is likely why we do not hear you saying much. This is a political debate forum. If you wish to use it to trade recipes for pie, that is your option but I will talk about issues of politics.
Evidently you think religion should be in politics, so I am going to talk about why it needs to be removed. Don't like it? To damned bad.

It is not about 'satisfaction' it is about freedom.
If I want "In God We Trust" on my currency, do I not have the "freedom" to have it or do you have the "freedom" to take my wants away from me?

Again, it doesn't take Fox News when Americans are living through his failed policies. I wonder why BSNBC keeps pumping the social issues?

Exit polls show the majority of Americans are talking about the economy, not the social issues. It's you and BSNBC that's out of touch!

Football Metaphor For November 6

Team Romney (Wolfpack)
Team Obama (Tarheels)

Things look bleak for Team Obama in the closing minutes of the election. Team Romney punts, and Barack races down the sideline, bobbing and weaving as Team Romney falls to the ground in Red State desparation, finally taking it into the end zone for a big game victory in the Ohio Bowl!

Moral. Don't punt the ball to a speedy, determined black dude in the closing minutes of any contest.

I apologize Mike, I will refrain from intruding on your political forum and go find a pie forum, hopefully an apple pie forum. Sorry I have wasted your time I wish you had just over looked my cooking posts and not responded.

You guys have been busy bees.

Let me weigh in on a couples issues I've looked over. I think John Sununu was absolutely correct when he said Powell endorsed Obama because he was black. Here's why, Powell endorsed Obama four years ago and it was for Obama's foreign policy decision making. Look a little closer at Obama's record vs Colin Powell's. Obama was basically a junior senator when he ran for president, and he took the job so seriously that he had a very poor record of showing up for senate hearings or votes. So, his record of great things he accomplished in the senate was not very stellar. He was a community organizer, that's about two steps above a social worker and doesn't exactly qualify one to be a president and his record reflects such. How many of you people think Colin Powell acheived being a 4 star general overnight and without showing up to lead and teach military personnel and got a pass on it as Obama did in the senate? Just as Obama, people's lives were in the hands of Colin Powell and he took his job seriously, and I have never recalled hearing where he lied about an attack or mission that went chaotic such as Libya. Colin Powell was taught to follow the honor code that a man of status in the military could not have acheived by blaming others for his mistakes. IMO, I think as the majority of blacks, Colin Powell endorsed Obama not off his record but because of race. If a hispanic, asian, etc runs for office, people of their race will support them too, not because of their record but because they're proud that someone of their race of ethnicity finally has a chance being POTUS. Let's get real, how long do you think Obama would have last under the command of Colin Powell in the military? Showing up late, not taking his job seriously and Obama would have taken a beat down for his arrogance quick fast and in a hurry in the military. They break you before they make you.

As far as taking God out of currency, schools, government buildings etc, go ahead, for the real believers, it doesn't take the belief out of our hearts, souls and minds. I give the God I serve more credit than needing to be on currency, schools, government buildings etc for me to believe and serve Him. We have churches and to be honest, the church isn't God either, it's a place believers go to worship together. God is in a real believer's heart, soul and mind and try taking that away.
