The two are very different.

Example. If one is a Christian, and opens a gas station, it is not be definition, founded upon Christianity.

Our government was founded upon the ideas of secularists. Philosophers who were separating their religious beliefs with how a government should operate.

Also, it can be debated how 'Christian' some of the founders were. Most consider many of them to be deists.

There are no principles of our government that can be called 'Christian' and only 'Christian'.

You can disagree with his opinion all you wish, but trying to diminish his credentials and experience is disrespectful and just factually wrong.
Powell was in charge of quite a lot. You claimed he was not in charge of "jack shit". That is just factually wrong and disrespectful.

Powell clearly dedicated his life to serving our country. You clearly disrespected that service.
