Well, that is your opinion and you are entitled to it. We all know you were trying to infer and/or imply something completely different. And because I showed facts that went against your assertations or implied idea, you spin this nonsense up because you were wrong and can't admit it when you are.
Here is something for you to mull over.
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/OTUS/obama-ram...
You have been making the beef that we are not heeding the opinions of others that know more, heed that bit of information. It would appear your leader disagrees with your idea and premise on same sex marriage and believes that issue is a state issue, not a federal one. Heed your teammates wisdom Mike.
You stated Powell was not in charge of "jack shit" I proved you wrong. You disrespected Powell and his knowledge. You did not just disagree with him, you went far beyond that. You tried to diminish his credentials and experience. This is not my opinion, it is clear fact.

One Nation under United Socialist Authority
Indivisible with servitude and enslavement for all.
You want to know how people become slaves, they are to stuped to stay free. Also following people like you.
I think you mean 'allegiance' not 'alleges'.

I would not pledge to this as I would not pledge to the one religion fanatics demanded.

I see you run from all my points as always. Run chicken run.

<quoted text>So the person in charge of advising on foreign policy for more than one president, does not qualify to know foreign policy in your book? I see. I see you are trying to downplay Powell importance and knowledge.
Next you will be telling me Condi Rice has no experience either and thus her statements are invalid.
"emlu wrote:
<quoted text>Are you saying that Obama's foreign policy pertains only to military matters? Powell was a military adviser correct? I didn't know he also advised on trade and international policy. You seem to be bringing Powell into a realm that he was not qualified.
I would hardly call a National Security Adviser or a Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, just a military adviser."

""The Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) is a body of senior uniformed leaders in the United States Department of Defense who advise the Secretary of Defense, the Homeland Security Council, the National Security Council and the President on military matters.
Following the Goldwater-Nichols Act in 1986 the Joint Chiefs of Staff do not have operational command authority, neither individually nor collectively, as the chain of command goes from the President to the Secretary of Defense, and from the Secretary of Defense to the Commanders of the Combatant Commands. Goldwater-Nichols also created the office of Vice Chairman, and the Chairman is now designated as the principal military adviser to the Secretary of Defense, the Homeland Security Council, the National Security Council and to the President."

Just so we are all clear on what exactly the Joint Chiefs do. Key words for you to pay attention to is NO OPERATIONAL COMMAND AUTHORITY. Which means, they are in charge of jack shit and are solely act in advisory capacity respectively."

"The Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs is appointed by the President without confirmation by the United States Senate. However, the APNSA is a staff position in the Executive Office of the President and does not have line authority over either the Department of State or the Department of Defense, but is able, as a consequence thereof, to offer advice to the President - unlike the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Defense who are senate-confirmed officials with line authority over their departments - independently of the vested interests of the large bureaucracies and clientele of those departments. The influence and role of the National Security Advisor varies from administration to administration and depends heavily on the qualities of the person appointed to the position."

Again Mike. Both positions are advisory only, not in command of a Army or Fleet. Not an easy feat to accomplish by no stretch of the imagination and I gave credit where credit was due. It is your opinion and opinion only I dismiss or discredit Powell's accomplishments.

However, as a registered voter, I disagree with Powell's opinion and perspective on Obama's foreign policies. I plan to eliminate the ineptness that is plaguing the presidency of the United States of America by casting my vote for his opponent willingly because I do not agree with the direction the current president is trying to take our country.

The ineptness I am talking about is Barack Obama and the democrat ideology.

Actually Mike this is what I said...

Go get some Midol man. It should help with your cramping and bloating. My wife recommended it for you after she read your postings.

It is painfully obvious you are tryng to split hairs and infer one thing to something else and bait an arguement.

YOU ARE WRONG. YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.

Sorry, capslock got stuck there.

Latest polls show Obama losing major ground in key states.
Example;
In '08 Obama won Wisc 56-42. Wisc now polling 49-49 tie according to the latest ABC poll which included a +4 sample for the democrats, that's a 7 pt decline for Obama.
The results are the same for most swing states.
Looks like the liberal attacks on the social issues aren't working, the number one issue according to EVERY exit poll.....the economy.

America has been on a steady run of going to the side of religion neutral. All you have left is a pledge and a slogan on currency. That will be removed in the relative future.

I see you failed to address a single point I made. Run republican, run.

The constitution is what prevents mob rule. It protects the minority. One day republicans will learn this most fundamental element of American government.
It is not about 'satisfaction' it is about freedom.

I didn't fail, I didn't try. You are beating the same tired drum. It's boring. Religion, religion, religion. Last week it was "women's rights", every media outlet in "real time" is talking about the Libya failure, You are thumping last weeks news. How cares who a private citizen endorses? Powell, who I like, I don't care who he votes for any more than he cares who I voted for.

In my lifetime, the ten commandments were removed from most government buildings. In my lifetime, prayer in schools was stopped from being mandated. In my lifetime, swearing to god in court was ended. In my lifetime, pledging to the flag can at least be opted out if the student chooses. In my lifetime, creationism was banned from public schools in the science classroom.

Keep it in the mythology sections.

It just takes Fox several times to feed the lie. Then it is digested and regurgitated by all the sheep in the pasture.
