Yes, I did pray for her. Mike has his own convictions about God the same way that Silver has his own convictions about race. I never see you call him out on that, which to me is the same thing. Regardless of how we feel about either of their views, in America, they have the right to feel and believe as they choose, whether we agree or disagree with them. I will continue to pray for her, as I do in many other areas of life as it is my belief that God does exist. Just because Mike does not believe in God does not prevent me from agreeing with him on most issues of civil rights and personal freedoms. In fact, I think most of his views in these areas are more humane and "Christian" than many who seem to give lip service by professing it.
Same sex marriage goes against Christian views. Gay period is against all things Christian.

Good luck with that communist.

Is your name desperate to argue? Mike, you're an athiest, Arnold claims to be a christian, now why would I talk to you about prayer? That would be like you trying to tell me about having a hysterectomy. PLEASE!!
So talking to someone with a different view can teach you nothing and is pointless? Or do you think an atheist can know nothing of prayer? If so, your assuming wrong again.

I was at one time, a Christian. So I have seen both sides. More than you can say.

Really, do you think your prayers for that girl were useful? Do you speculate why god refused to answer that prayer?

If you think a god had the power to help, is it not immoral of him to try to help? If I could have saved her, but refused, all would clearly say I was immoral for my refusal.
So clearly you have double standards for your god.
So god does not make moral standards for you to follow. You do not do as he would do. Well, lets hope not anyway.

It amazes me that theists ignore these questions. At least it seems they do.

So you insist on making your superstition law.
A superstition that has zero evidence of truth.
Gay marriage is against all things Muslim also. You are right in line with them. They also wish to impose their superstition into law. They do this often in the middle east. You likely condemn some of that. But yet cannot comprehend why secularism is good.
I think you have more in common with Muslims than you would like to admit.

"A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have." -- Thomas Jefferson

The size of government (federal, state, and local) has risen 76% in the last decade alone to an astonishing $6.1 trillion! To pay for this, the average working American families lose half of their income to taxes. When you hear people ( TSF, Mikey and Arnold calling for more government programs, they are proposing to make this worse. Taking from our families, taking for themselves. They will have our children working as slaves to their fascists state. They are communist minded people and an enemy of all Americans.

Racism and non concern for the well being of the poor is against the teachings of Christ, or do you not believe his words when he said ,"As You did to the least of these my brethern, the same you did unto me?" Why have you treated Christ so unfairly and with utter disdain?

I think most who get them cannot see how silly it looks, and their friends will not tell them.
I think it all to easy to go to far on them. I feel like it is cheating. If one wants to look good, one needs to hit the exercise and diet. Not easy to always do, but it looks better and is genuine. People can see genuine more so than most understand.

Mike, my first midline facelift made me look rested and refreshed. So you have a good point by saying if you can tell someone has had a facelift. For me, I don't want to look 20 years younger, but I'll take looking a good 47 or 48 year old rested and refreshed look.

Government spending does automatically not mean the government is growing. If the government is using private industry to construct a road, is that growing the size of government?

Democrats propose cuts as well as republicans. Republicans just do not wish to cut what the democrats want to cut and vice versa.
That is how it has been for quite a long time now. I do not expect anything to change here.
Compromise is what is needed. Who refuses to compromise? The republican congress.

Mike, if it came down to you saving the little girl or your computer so you could get on Topix, the results would still be the same for the little girl. You're probably not going to find too many people that will accuse you of a double-standard on helping anyone other than yourself.

Hey Lu, what's your favorite tv show? I have to admit, I'm addicted to "Revenge". Keeps me on the edge of my seat. Do you watch it?
Another thing, you're not as old as I am, but I was a sun worshipper when I was young and my face shows it. Would you consider a facelift? I tell you, I'm really wanting one. I'm trying to hold out to November for Botox and a little filler around my laugh lines and upper lip. I've even thought of having some collagen put in my top lip. You think that's too extreme. I've had Botox plenty of times, but the other is new procedures for me. Well, to be honest Lu, I've had a midline facelift, but I want a whole gainer this time. The midline only lasts about five years and considering mine's been about 8 years, she's a goner.
As a matter of fact, I have a friend in Miami that does this for a living. What is the goal you are looking for is the first thing she asks. If your fifty, do you want to look twenty five. She'll probably would refer you to someone else. Her thinking is long term maintenance. She'll take fat outta your butt and put it in your lip.(How did you like that boys?) It's safe lasts about 6 months and low cost under $100. She has built a client base doing this. Would I do it, I don't know, I see women all the time and the dead give away is the hands. Can't fix that. I am a sun person myself. I tan very easy and it works for me. TV show everything from NCIS to History, DIY.

Love NCIS, the original, History and I like to see the before and afters on DIY. My hands aren't too much of a give away because I'm petite and have small hands and don't draw too much attention. I'm going for some kind of work on my face Lu, don't know what, but I'll send you pictures--before and after when I do.

You are so FOS. You will find zero instances of me calling for more government programs. Astonishing? Yes because the total federal budget for 2012 was $3.5 trillion. You are just like your hero, making up lies out of thin air and then believing it yourself. Total tax collections in 2012 were 2.4 trillion. The total of exemptions to the wealthy, tax breaks to the wealthy, tax , subsidies to the wealthy, incentives to the wealthy, etc was $1.3 trillion. If we had eliminated SOCIALISM to the wealthy in 2012, we would have had 0.2 trillion dollars to pay down the national debt instead of borrowing more. Why the hell you want your children being slaves to the wealthy makes no sense. You are an idiot and an enemy of yourself.

Ok Mr. Smarty, no need to rub it in our face that we have to spray or pay for tan. Needless to say, I'm olive complexion and I tan easy, but I've paid a heavy price for being a sun worshipper. I spray.
