Hannah Montana Concert Ticket SCAM- Pre-sale & Ticketmaster

Same scenerio here today - Hannah Montana Ticket SCAM- after first paying to join the fan club and have zero tickets available there in the first 5 minutes and now today, Sat. 9/15 at noon- exactly noon- refreshing the page to the second- there were ZERO tickets. I have some very, very, very disappointed daughters. They watched me try to get the tickets. What a sad lesson learned.
I am truly surprised and greatly disappointed that Billy Rae and Hannah would ALLOW this to happen - it certainly goes against the morals and values they continually preach... They are aware of it, and they have the power to change it. Many artist are tired of their fans being ripped off- and they have stopped the greedy scam artists in their tracks. Tickets need to match the purchasing ID - and Picture ID as well.
It is just plain ROTTEN that children are being so disappointed by this.
Our family is fortunate enough that we can afford to pay the outrageous tickets by the online scalpers -(which by the way- Ticketmaster has joinged that club - with their so called "ticket exchange" as well as their Ticket Auctions.)
But, as much as the girls want to go- I am very torn - as a matter of principle- it will NOT get better - and the rip-offs will continue UNLESS we make a stand.
Wish I could say 100% that I won't be buying the scalpers tickets.... but you know how soft mom's are to their girls... It's tough!
I think if Hannah and Tickemaster and the so-called ticket "brokers" got a bunch of bad PR - and news coverage - things "might" begin to change. So I for one appreciate you folks that posted here before me- and a thank you in advance to those who post after me.:-)

Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana tickets have been sold out in minutes for the pre-sale and also for the tickets sold to the general public. How could this be though, if tickets on Ticketmaster can only be bought at a maximum of 4? Scalpers! We can find our $20-$60 tickets sold by the hundreds on other ticket websites. Leaving kids all over disappointed and even having some parents shell out the money so that they could go. Same scenario here. I was told tix go on sale sat morn at 10:00 am...THinking that it might take me a few minutes to get into the system, I got online at 9:45. I refreshed the page at 10 on the dot and clicked 4 tickets. Just thinking that whereever they were was fine. It took all of 3 sec to tell me NO tickets available. Then I listen to the radio and an eyewitness acct of the ticketmaster opening the booth and telling all the people and their little girls, that they were all sold out. There was almost a riot over that. Ticketmaster is to blame and they are surely getting kickbacks from the sale of these WAY overpriced tickets. We have got to say NO to the scalpers, no matter how bad our daughters want to go. They need to eat the cost of these...

We tried to get tickets here in Greensboro online at 10 am and there were none available, we tried to get them for the Charlotte show at noon and there were none there either. The tickets are all over ebay from sellers in CA, UT , MI.... did the presale on the fan club ever think that these jerks would come from Utah or California to see Hannah Montana in Greensboro or Charlotte NC?

Even thought it is too late for my kids I think a class action lawsuit is in order so that this does not happen to others in the future

Hey I'm in High Point,NC both Greensboro and Charlotte were sold out in 30 seconds???I think not.Was online for Ticketmaster when it said sold out I called and after an hour of not getting thru for customer service in Fayettville,Raleigh,Greensboro and Winston-Salem,finally the line in Charlotte answered.The rep said "there are no more tickets in inventory for Hannah Montana",I was sooooo upset for my daughter and the look on her face said it all.I've been online since Saturday signed the petition and have found countless parents who have been trying to get tickets in all states all over the country this has happened too whether they are members or not.It's ridiculous.Scalpers already purchased the tickets before presale.A lot Miley world members didn't get tickets at all during the presale.A few yes maybe if they refreshed the page enough to get thru but then a lot were booted out of the page to purchase.SCAM much?Yes of course.I like a lot of parents cannot afford the high prices of $200.00 per ticket to $10,000 yes $10k that's the highest I've seen.If we just don't buy at the scalpers prices they will stop taking advantage of the children for their own greed.

Same story here in Arkansas. Sold out in 15 minutes. What is sad is that I don't know anyone willing to pay the scalp prices so the arena will probably be empty when there are many of us that would go but are only willing to pay regular prices. Come on Miley and Company, Figure out the problem and FIX IT!! OR play to empty venues!

I can completely understand your frustration, we too joined the fan club only to find out that there were no tickets left and we were online at exactly 10:00 and at 10:05 ticketmaster had that there were no tickets available. We cannot afford to pay the outrageous price for the tickets so my daughter had to suffer the disappointment. After this little scam and my wondering how in the world the tickets were sold out online in the first 5 minutes I have decided that I will not go out of my way for tickets like this again. This was a horrible way to do business. I really don't feel that these tickets could have been sold out in 5 min I think we all got scammed on this one so that ticketmaster could make more money off of these tickets. Believe there are other people who feel your pain on this one.

I can tell you 100% without a doubt I will not pay scalper prices. It is ridiculous how kids are being exploited. Yes, my kids are very disappointed; however, this gave me the opportunity to teach them a valuable lesson on GREED!!! The tickets were suppose to go on sale here at 10:00am St Sept. 15. Where Ticketmaster took out a huge ad in the paper ... straight up at 10:00 there were NO tickets available -- I tried every number from 4 tickets to 1 ticket. Not even one ticket - at the time tickets were to go on sale. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE and the concerts should be boycotted.

I tried very hard on Saturday Sept 15 th to get tickets to the Gwinnett Arena show for Ga and I was able to locate two tickets and then the ticketmaster screen went blank .I have emailed ticketmaster and no one has bothered to return me an email .I have a very upset 10 yr old little girl huge Hannah Montana fan that will not be able to go to the concert due to this .I went looking for some tickets and ticket brokers are seeling these tickets at outrageous prices $300.00 a piece .I cannot and will not do this .There needs to be something done about this .Ticketmaster sold these tickets to these ticket brokers and now you have alot of little girls with broken hearts because of this .How can you sleep at night doing this to children

Just because you can afford the scam prices doesn't mean you should. Teach your children a bigger lesson and do not allow yourself to be a victim. What happened to teaching our children principals. My daughter is a huge fan but I am not going to teach her that is ok to be taken advantage of and even more that is ok to do that to other people -- do not buy tickets people - put that money in a bank account or investment for your children.

Well, I'm in a little different boat. I paid the $30 to join the club and I did get tickets during the presale, so did all of my friends that joined. However, we were online at 10:00am the first day of the presale. I'm disgusted by the way the tickets were sold and the fact that I had to pay extra money just to have the right to buy tickets, but it happens ALL the time. It has nothing to do with Hannah Montana or Billy Ray Cyrus, it is TicketMaster and the way they are allowed to do business. Bands that have tried to sell tickets around Ticket Master get shut out....talk to Pearl Jam about that.

Not sure what we can do about it, but they definitely have a monopoly. I have stopped buying many tickets because it is just too costly. But the bottom line is, if you want to see a show, you'll buy thru Ticket Master or Ebay later.

I hope something is done about ticketmaster and ticket brokers .This needs to stop you have hurt alot of children due to ow tickets were sold .I really hope the show will be cancelled or Hannah Montana will schedule another concert for the fans ..I cannot believe something can not be done about this ...
This really hurts me to know my daughter will not be going to the concert .
