Talking snakes. Talking bushes on fire. Every mammal on Earth crammed onto a single boat. Paying to hear a sociopathic racist rant twice a week.

If ignorance and stupidity isn't at the front door of a church, it's inSIDE the church.

you people are very gullible to actually pay money to these Reverends , so they can con you and fool you. Anyone in the USA can be a reverend - I even got my "Reverend" certificate on line from the USA!

This is the very minimum that predominately white institutions do to draw non white people, but none of you ever had a problem with all of that...

2 ignorant BW are responsible for this story. Why would the woman who received the email run straight to the press, without discussing the matter with the congregation?
Churches are supposed to be like a surrogate family, you discuss things within the church group first. Only after that would you consider taking it outside.
Dumb spiteful BW, both of them.

Nothing new here. Black women are white people's pets.
Imagine if you sent an email to someone you went to church with. And they didn't like what you wrote and instead of speaking to you about it, they forwarded it to the media.

The person who contacted the media, is not interested in peace or unity within the church. She is interested in humiliating and shaming church leaders. I hope they get her to leave their congregation.
The email was wrong, but in a church you discuss these things, there are many opprtunities to express yourself and make complaints know.
How disgusting that she would go to the media and try to bring bad publicity and shame onto the church.

Now all the good things that congregation has done for that community will be overshadowed by this bad publicity. Just because one low IQ woman sent a stupid email to a spiteful vengeful person.

Maybe it *was* discussed internally and the results were unsatisfactory to the person who contacted the press.

You'd think the so called pastor would have followed that protocal BUT she didn't. The whistle blower did just what the world should be doing, EXPOSING the devil's work. There are more devils in the pulpit than in hell.

That so called pastor had no right. And if she had a problem with the former door keepers, she should have addressed the problem before it got to this point of shaming the ones who once held the position.

The leadership is all wrong, so what do you think the membership will be like. the pastor don't know order, so the members wont!

When you're right, you're right. When you're wrong, you're wrong. None of us are perfect all the time.

In this case, you're right.

I may come back and disagree with you in some other matter. At this moment, you're correct.

The mistake of this particular pastor is not meeting with those responsible for greeting visitors and getting their input. Even Jesus consulted with others.

Jesus consulted with his brothers and sisters about going to the wedding feast. His initial idea was not to attend.

If this pastor had asked for input, all of this would have been avoided.

All of us have made a mistake at some time or another.

This mistake does not define the pastor as a false prophet, it was a mistake of which can be corrected.

We must not demand perfection from anyone but, we must "understand" life is a combination of falling down and getting backup, falling down again and getting back up.

It's easy for us to sit on the sidelines and criticize the player on the field.

My initial response was like everyone else. As I thought about it, we expect too much from people and this pastor is apt to make a mistake just like everyone.

It is for this reason, God allowed judges in Israel to remove all decisions from one person. That's a heavy burden for one individual to bare.

Once again, folk speaking IGNORANTLY because they lack knowledge of what the word of God says.

First of all, the book of Judges and Judges in general were appointed in the bible because the people of God had gone astray and did not want to heed to the laws and commandments of God so judges and kings were appointed to them because that's what the people asked for and God allowed it until the peoples sufferings and cries reach heaven once again, and the Lord heard their cry and sent a man of God to tell what THUS SAYETH THE LORD and they'd turn back.

Secondly, If you read your bible you'll find out that everybody that say "Lord Lord won't enter into the Kingdom of heaven nor will they be able to stand before the judgement seat and explain their foolishness to Christ cause his word saysthat he will say TURN FROM ME YOU WORKERS OF INIQUITY, I NEVER KNEW YOU!

There are people calling themselves pastors, God didn't call them.

It sounds like that bw pastor has a good head for business because she knows that you never get a second chance to make a first impression. She is in the process of trying to attract larger numbers to the congregation and she knows that putting nighurs at the front door would scare away many prospective members. Any other business trying to attract lucrative clintele would do the same thing.
