Charlotte Mayor McCrory and His Miserable City

When Forbes Magazine released their list of the 10 most miserable cities in America, Charlotte's Mayor and gubernatorial candidate Pat McCrory couldn't come up with a better excuse than "I think they need drug ... via American Chronicle

I have lived in Charlotte, since 1984 and agree with the Forbes list for the most part. Of course Mayor McCrory would take exception to the article, and that is no surprise. Hopefully though, he will actually consider some of the article to be right on the money. You know when you go to a city or town, and get a great feeling of excitement, and aliveness ? No matter what they try, that feeling just isn't there in Charlotte.

Mayor McCrory gets elected with 20% of the total potential votes. His popularity lies with the suburban voters. But the rest of the city's voters, especially the lower 80% income brackets never bother to vote. So they get Mayor Pat 5 times in a row.

Oh but times are changing fast and I truly believe he would not have been elected again. My 2 cents of course!

Hillary sides with McCain too often!

It is clear that they are working on the same side in this campaign, if it comes down to those two against eachother in the general election; would she be able to beat him? John McCain will pick a young, popular vice president that will help him win; Hillary will fire up the conservative base that doesn't really like McCain, and most of the young and black voters will stay home; this only adds up to a win for JOHN MCCAIN!
