It's so obvious to most of us here that Irina's death investigation was outrageously sloppy, that the wrong people had been put behind the bars... How can this happen, how can our Justice System get away with again and again??? At this point, we american people, should fear our "Justice" as much as the "scary killer" who got away with his/her crime. I'm disgusted. I began to hate this country.

The justice system especially in Charlotte n.c. pick and choose. No serious investigations. They just put whoever in prison to satisfy the public, because the media escalates the situations and the prosecutors , SBI, ALE, SHP all lie in some cases and probably most cases. And yes even the own defendants lawyers work w/ the prosecutors.

At least three lives ended / ruined and at least a dozen more family members saddened and deeply hurt by the actions of filthy hood rats. Wake up people.

I haven't seen all the evidence, but it seems the wrong men were accused of this crime. The evidence I'm aware of was not sufficient to convict Mark Carver. I wonder if the dna on the ligatures has been put through CODIS? I think they should continue to put it through CODIS so they can find either the real killer or the third killer.

The public got what they wanted. Someone charged. It does not matter to anyone who really did it. the prosecutors are mostly liars. they make it easy on themselves. Prosecute, public happy and there u go. No Free Card. Come to Charlotte NC and see how corrupt the justice system really is.

I am pretty sure it was a black male that killed this person. Black women mothers don't know how to raise children. They only know how to raise monsters.

To carry real guns with real ammo and have the capability to arrest and frame anyone they want. And they do.

According to another website devoted to Itina yarmolenko, there are many clues which suggest that this was suicide. Her body was not violated and showed no bruises or signs of a struggle. The video at the YMCA showed there was only one person in the car. Her car was driven or rolled down the embankment as if to drown her. The car stopped at the edge because it hit a stump. The seats were dry but she was found soaking wet indicating she went into the water after the car went down the embankment. tThe jet skier made a death bed confession that he saw Ira "playing" in the water. That couldve been an attempt to drown herself. She made an Internet search on the day she died for "suicide". The bindings on her neck were intricately tied from her own personal belongings. One of her ex boyfriends worked at the YMCA 1/3 of a mile from where she died. She had just announced that she was transferring to another school close to her parents home and she dropped off a goodbye present at the coffee shop where she worked.

According to "The American Journal of Forensic Medicine and Pathology", this death has all the hallmarks of a suicide. http://journals.lww.com/amjforensicmedicine/F...

uh...you need to add a *warning* with that link Mike. Authentic autopsy photos on there.
??? IF she looked up "how to suicide" on her cell phone that day, did she look up self strangulation as a method? Anyone know???

Nearly five years have passed. It now appears to have been a tragic suicide. Who would have thunk it?
I wish the truth would have come out. It's a shame that Her family and friends didn't express publicly what problems she was undergoing.

But after some research and fact finding it's pretty apparent she did commit suicide. Sadly for her, her family and the man imprisoned charged with her 'murder'.( know one died before trial).
