Good for the Swiss for refusing to turn their country and way of life over to religious zealots. If they want to build their minarets, let them move to Somalia and do it.

I wonder what would happen to Catholics in Saudi Arabia who wanted to build Catholic churches there....oh that's right you would either be deported if you're a foreigner or executed if you're a native since no other religions are allowed in Saudi Arabia. In the rest of the Middle East you'd probably be physically terrorized by Muslim extremists if not outright killed like the Jews and Christians are in Iraq. The religion of Peace has nothing on other religions when it comes to hypocrisy and extremism.

what a crock of horse manure your moral relativism is especially when you consider the clash of value systems the adherents of the Muslim faith have when living in Western societies. The Swiss never made an oath of religious freedom in their constitution they just allow religion to take place as a laissez faire social policy. Since they are alarmed by an invasive culture who doesn't wish to assimilate into the larger Swiss society they are taking measures to curb what they rightly perceive as an exclusionary and bigoted religion from gaining a bigger foothold in their country.

Very soon the West,Amercia,Canada,Australia and all non-Muslim countries will kick out these Muslim pests from their countries as they are the cause for all the trouble in the world. Without Muslims, the world will be a best place to live in.

Swiss Poll

Does Switzerland's direct democracy go too far in allowing the people to decide on sensitive issues like minarets? The people have spoken.

Yes 24%

No 73%

I don't know 3%

Call me anything but don't call me muslim.

I'm surprised the Muslims kept their protest peaceful.

you lose the debate when you call your opponent a Nazi but then again you never had any reasonable argument to begin with. You are somewhat stupid and intellectually lazy
