Oil Painting on Acrylic Panel such as Plexiglas

The advantages are that it is light, easily stored, will never warp, does not require a frame backing and really inexpensive (example a thin gauge .93mm 18x24 inches costs about $10.00 and it can be displayed for show in a poster frame (18x24 poster frame cost about $11.00). I have used it for 3 paintings so far and it is really better than hardboard or plywood because it will not warp!
