I hope Timmy gets a chance to start for the Ti-cats. I think the wide open play in the CFL will be good for him.

I understand in college he skated through class... maybe he should also try out with an NHL team to have something else to fall back on,because we know already it's not football.

Hmmm.. of all the quarterbacks that signed the same year as Timmy, how many are still in pro ball anyway? 1, 2? 0?

I wish Timmy luck. I think he is a good quarterback and I enjoyed watching him play with UH.

I wish Timmy good luck. He is a good quarterback and I enjoyed watching him play for UH. I met him once and he seemed like a real humble guy.

Timmy just needs some good coaching to correct his mechanics. He didn't get it in Hawii and not most teams feel he is too old to change his throwing. If he gets a break from a team willing to take a chance, he may prove he can play at the NFL level

Timmy ( Should we really still be calling him Timmy, he's much older now), Had very good coaching then, did OK ( Not excellent) in CFB,but was not NFL material. Too inconsistent with his passing, and didn't have the brut strength to run the ball. Could read defense well, but just couldn't cut it when it came down to being top material. Period.

I'd have to agree with Island Joe his atheleticism is not as good as some of the more mobile quarterbacks like Vick or as big as Culpepper. However, many of the backups or draft pickups being "groomed" are same as if not worse than Chang. Consider Kitna, even Eli Manning, they are not very consistent but are getting chances. I think Chang has enough speed to move around buy time and make plays. I am not saying he has enough to be an elite QB in NFL but who knows, I think from his history and his the QBs in the league (starting and backup), he deserves a chance. Thus far, he hasn't had a chance to be in a position to lead a team and truly prove himself. IMHO

What made it extra difficult for Chang to adapt to NFL standards, was not only playing most shotgun at UH, but also back in High School days.
Many people try comparing him to Brennen, or vice-versa, where most of Brennens years have been playing under center before landing at UH. This 2007 will have many under center plays to show NFL scouts he is just as capable both methods

Theres a lot of first round busts in the qb position.timmy chang would have been better then a lot of those busts. If chang played a pro style offense he would have been a number one pick and a heisman winner by now.On the real tip he should break through back to the pros
