What's the hang-up on the new area code?

The overlay of new area code, 747, over the 818 area code is no big deal. Everyone who uses a cell phone has all his frequently called numbers in memory anyway, so there is no change there.

I can't imagine what media you are talking about. Only 20 percent of the media run more liberal than conservatives. In 38 states, the conservative voice is greater than the liberal voice. In other words, conservative columns reach more readers in total than liberal columns.

Thank your son for his service, but there is no such thing as "liberal" media. If there were, there would be more outrage and investigation, instead of collusion and bias.

While there are undoubtedly many, many, success stories in Iraq, good news doesn't sell papers. Besides, if all the news was good and cheery, more people would be saying "if everything is going so well, let's bring the troops home", which we all know isn't going to happen for some time. 100 years if John McCain has his way.
