ASHEVILLE – Asheville Police officers arrested Brian Norris Allen, of Hemlock Hills Estates Drive, Marion, and charged him with selling or delivering a schedule I controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule I controlled substance, and maintaining a vehicle for purposes of a controlled substance.

According to warrants, Allen, 24, allegedly sold 10 doses of LSD and was arrested with 40 doses.

He was being held under $75,000 secured bond.

Now if this fellow had raped/molested a child, he would be out of jail on a promise to appear.

LSD is still around, ehh?

HAS ANYONE ELSE NOTICED THAT THESE "MISCREANTS" ARE YOUNGER AND YOUNGER? SOME OF THEM ACT LIKE WE OWE IT TO THEM TO HAVE A CELL PHONE, DRUGS AND MONEY. IT TELLS ME THAT WE PARENTS ARE NOT KEEPING AN EYE ON THEM. EVEN IF THEY HAVE A JOB, THEY STILL WANT WHAT VERYONE ELSE HAS TO WORK FOR. THE QUESTION IS HOW TO STOP THIS GIMME. I WANT IT.

I know from your earlier posts that you are in favor of legalizing marijuana. Am I to understand that you think we should legalize the likes of LSD, Mescaline, and the other "psychedelic" drugs as well?

Yes, I think all drugs should be legalized.

No, chemical drugs should not be legal.

Pot or anything that grows and ya can pick it, eat it, smoke it from natures bounty then Yes, they should be legal and that should cover enough for the stoners to be happy.

I took my fair share of trips in the early 70's and if I had it to do over, I would do it once just because someone told me I couldn't. LOL

Shrooms wore me out with that permanent silly grin, but I was young and foolish and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I doubt I would do them today (tomorrow maybe) as if I die with a silly grin on my face, I want it to be from something a lot more enjoyable that drugs.

Legalized by prescription from a certified MD or legalized in the sense anyone can manufacture, grow or otherwise make the drugs and sell and consume at will anyplace and at anytime?

Many of us "experimented" but most of us gave it up to become mature and productive adults. I know this to be from my experiences, those that gave it up have much better lives than those that continued. Those that continued are either dead, burned out, or wards of the State. When thinking back I'm sure a lot of us wonder how we survived our own stupidity.

I don't have a strong opinion about that right now. Perhaps different drugs could be regulated to different degrees.

Another example of the system ruining lives. Had that guy not been arrested, a handful of people would have done some acid, laughed, giggled, and then gone on about their day to day lives, having not harmed anyone other than themselves(and there would have been very little harm done there either).
The Drug war has to end

Young, stupid and indestructable!! Bad trips always happened to the other guy. Death, no matter how close cannot touch me. Yeah, I remember those thoughts and looking back, we were lucky.

Oh yeah! And wasn't just the drug's biological effects either. Stupidity abounded. I remember sitting in the back seat of a little Datsun station wagon driving from Madison, WI to Milwaukee. WI on I-94 with the driver "fueled" on orange mescaline!

May he rest in peace. He drowned two years later "fueled" on something as he tried to swim across the Mississippi river in Lacrosse, WI. It was his last "trip"!

CheneyCare
The National Nurses Organizing Committee is calling for “CheneyCare” for all Americans. The nurses note that the vice president is a survivor of four heart attacks, quadruple bypass surgery, angioplasty, an implanted defibrillator and an emergency procedure to treat his irregular heartbeat. Yet all his medical treatment costs Cheney little out of his own pocket, and he doesn’t have to worry about being turned away for pre-existing conditions or being “denied coverage for what an insurance company labels ‘experimental treatments.’”

But, can you imagine such health-care coverage for all Americans at government cost? Absolutely not. That kind of “socialized medicine” is reserved only for people who oppose big government.

I want to hear from anybody that can say definitively what candidate(s) is or are suggestion socialized medicine? Does anybody really know what the hell they are talking about or are such remarks as this just plain uninformed hysteria?
