And the other side of the story that the christian site won't tell you. http://www.dispatch.com/live/content/local_ne... This guy has been sued already for forcing his football team to pray with him, cited by the school administration for teaching intelligent design instead of science, and only recently finally took down the ten commandments from his school room.

george anderson quotes; "Sure lets replace him with a Muslim teacher and it will be all ok<rolls eyes>You lunatics never cease to amaze me." "Sure why not add a little gun play while your at it.And you call us nutty, lol." what in the name of your god do either of these have to do with the topic...? How and why do you guys always make these leaps and bounds into the absurd...? Its almost comical, almost...

God bless anyone who stands up for their constitutional rights! Freedom of religion does NOT stop at the doors of a public building. If you think it does, go to the Supreme Courts Building. Go take a trip to all of the monuments in DC. Watch when the President takes his oath (the Bible is right there). And the list goes on and on. I hope one day someone says I cant take my Bible to work. The next day I will bring my entire library and dare them to do something about it, because they cant.

The trouble with this
|
The trouble with this world today atarted when they took prayer out of the schools. I may not go to church, because I believe that god never intended for church to be money oriented, but I believe in God and prayer in a simple form and I think there should be morning prayers in schools.I dont think that there would have been so many kids killing other kids if God would have been in their hearts. If they want to have their bibles with them through out school let them have them and the Government mind their own buisness. The Government should be concerned theat they have a terrorist for a president and have the worst candidates running now then they have ever had in the hirtory of America. God Bless this teacher and all his students!

Here is a question I have about the whole thing. They asked him to put his Bible in the desk so no one would recognize it as a Bible. Did he have a cover on it? They do make those for Bibles. If not and he put one on, problem solved. No one would know what it was. Although, I stand firm that this should never have been an issue in the first place. Just a though. I think he should purchase a huge family Bible and set it on a stand on top of his desk open to any of the many profound scriptures in the the Bible. He could make it an ongoing project. A new scripture everyday and the students could write what they think it is trying to say. Different views of the same verses. You know, like they did with Shakespeare in high school. After all, if it is only fiction, then where is the harm. :)
