This is very sad. Although this may sound cruel I hope it was suicide and not murder. My prayers go out to the family.

Very concerned if this is not suicide; because we then have a murderer very nearby. Either way a horrible end to a life.

Finding a person who may have wandered off in a snow storm (s) such as we saw with those days would most likely be the equivilant of finding a folded newspaper under 50 inches of snow in the middle of 3 football fields.

What a shame..........

finding a woman in 50 inches would be equivalent to a search and rescue team finding a woman after an avalanche on a mountain, using dogs and other appropriate techniques and grid patterns given the weather conditions. was this even considered as an option during the investigation? bringing in cadaver dogs or other specialized individuals?

Remember who you are dealing with. The PD is called EARP. Need I say more?

They did bring in three dogs, one picked up the scent but they lost it due to the snow. im sure if it wouldn't have snowed then they would have located her sooner. the snow storm covered any tracks or scents. obviously it was easier to find her body now that most of the snow has melted. not to mention, they had to be careful because of 50 foot deep sink holes. they ran a risk of killing themselves. they had to wait till the snow melted away some. my heart goes out to the family and friends. and i hope the find out the truth sounds, it all seems suspicious so me.

I'm gonna say she knew the person that did this. It sounds a lot like the type of rural murders you hear as a result of meeting someone online.

I stongly feel crime rates would go down if we had more street justice. What does a criminal have to fear?Free room and board, medical care, and 24 hr protection?

Absolutely! This was someone she either knew or trusted. Nobody goes down a deadend side road in a blizzard unless the know where they are going.

I agree. The average American cannot afford any medical care, has no self protection rights when it comes to defending their home and property against a criminal (without fear of lawsuits from the criminal), and free room and board? Many are losing their homes - something they worked very hard to own in the first place. There is no more "American Dream". We are now living in a nightmare....makes one wonder about martial law...

also wgal says the coroner said there were no signs of trauma. Could have just been simply a heart attack or other health problem.

The police department could have done a better job. If they did not want to seazrch for her then they should have turned the case over to state. It is pretty bad when a neighbor is more worried about finding her then the police. Geeee, what are they getting paid for then? Oh wait, sitting at Turkey Hill drinking free coffee and doing nothing...

If you can do better, than do it! Sounds like you were on top of this the whole time so why didn't you jump in and take command? Oh wait, you're not qualified to be a police officer! So how do you know how to do their job better than them? As for the state, forget it. I live in psp coverage and it is deplorable and psp now wants me to pay more for a service they can't provide. Give me a local PD anytime.

If I ever knew someone who killed someone, they would never stand trial.God would be there only hope, cause I would have no mercy or worry about cruel unjust punishment, an eye for an eye.
