Just wondering where this columnist got his specific knowledge that only 65K would have attended if ALMS had been the headliner. Come on...how do you come up with a number like that. Total speculation. LBGP is such an institution that probably 150K would have showed up if the feature race had been Shriners in golf carts.

Doug Krikorian ----- Give up the NFL dream already. It won't happen in Long Beach. Unless someone in your town can come up with Ed Roski-type finances, there won't be a stadium built on the Queen Mary property.
