It seemed like Jimmy lost his edge the last 4 or 5 years. He lost is aggressiveness and willing to take risk. The sun has fallen on the former champ.

I completely agree with you evilss Jimmy didn't lose his nerve. I have been a fan of Jimmy's since 1995 and watch Champ Car now just to root for the PKV Racing team because Jimmy's is part owner of the team.
No matter what Jimmy does he will always be my favorite driver whether he is racing in a Champ Car or not at the moment . I beleive Jimmy hasn't retired and that Jimmy still holds the number 12 Champ Car number.
I am just happy Jimmy is a part of Champ Car. Evilss...that is so cool you are working on building Jimmy's 68 427 Vette.- Joy

Yes he has several dealerships. Jimmy will never lose his edge. He had it back in 1983 in high school (i know we where in high school together) and has it now. It is not an easy thing having a successful dealership and being the savy business man that he is. Look out he will be back on the track one day and faster then ever before. keep up the good work jimmy and make live oak class of 83 proude.

I have got to meet Jimmy a few times. He is a real class act who was truly great in his prime. I first met him when he was a rookie in Indy and he sublet an apartment next door to my sister-in-law. He is my all time favorite driver.
