Why does'nt the Yukon have access to the Pacific ocean ?
Imagine taking a boat from Vancouver to the Yukon without touching
We need to build a Yukon Sea-Port on the Pacific Ocean and I believe
it will also be a great benefit for Yukon tourism.
As you know the Yukon is land-locked on 3 fronts.
At-least let's renegotiate the southern part of the Yukon/Alaska
border so that it's moved a bit west to Mount-Huxley and then south to
Icy-Bay along the Pacific coastline to the surrounding shores of
Yakutat-Bay and even continuing a bit more south of Yakutat-Bay.
We can renegotiate that stretch of land with Alaska and in return for
that coastline give Alaska the same amount of land they give us in the
region towards the Arctic-Circle on the Yukon/Alaska border.
If you like you can google on google-maps the word/s
"Mount-Huxley"(U.S.A .), "Icy-Bay"(U.S.A.) and "Yakutat-Bay"(U.S.A. )
to get a better perspective of what I'm talking about.
The Yukon needs free access to the Pacific-Ocean !!
