Hey HGW, did you end up taking the course? If so, how was it. This college is suspiciously hard to find a review for...

I've taken the online Health Unit Clerk course and I thought it was fine. The material was slightly challenging, but totally doable. Alberta Health Services recognizes it, so it must be a reputable course.

I would be hesitant to take ANY course at Robertson college. The place is a diploma mill that robs students blind. I suggest you look into non private schools for a quality education. Try RRCC or U of M

Can you tell me if you have found a job with this course? Are you sure it is recognized?

I am in the Winnipeg Casino, Resort, Event coordinator. I fought to have AHLA exams added and THAT'S what will get me a career, not the Robertson diploma, which every employer has questioned so far. Also, be quiet, and timid, and never give an opinion when asked too. They not only rob you blind, but they're a bunch of bullies and with a private college like that, you don't have any student advocacy.

I would never recommend this college to anyone. My experience in it has been nothing short of awful, and it's all I heard from any other students as well. They are poorly managed, barely acknowledge their students, and if they do, it is negatively. They treat it like an elementary school. It is not even remotely worth wasting several grand on, because chances are, RRCC will have something that will a) make you more money b) make you more knowledgeable and c) find you a better job.
I spent 10 grand on a course to find out that many of the places they send students to practicum had stopped accepting students from this college.
Privately funded schools really are a cash grab, just refrain from falling for their "smiling faces" and assurance. I would hate to see someone waste their time and money in this school, just like myself and many others have.

I attended the Robertson College Software Development course. From the first day the instructor lost me. And for the next four months I went to every class, studied hard after class and weekends, viewed all the videos and slides provided, listened intently , and asked questions, but by the end of the first four months I did not have a clear, confident understanding of anything. It was a horrifying experience, and BIG disappointment. And the worst of it, " my friends think of me now as a drop out."
But m in all fairness, I did get a bit of an introduction to programming, and I have continued my studies on my own with that.

The College was fair in providing a prorated refund , which from what I understand, other colleges would not.

Have a nice day everyone.

Well I attened this institution it wasnt very helpful.
They say theyll help you but, later disregard the "help" with stay possitive.
it was a total waste of 9 grand, now im in debt. I cant even find find a job, with theyre
diploma, I know employers I have submitted a resume to, most like likely laugh and toss it out
I put out many resumes and no call backs and I have asked them to help me but I get theyre favorite line over and over, keep positive. Thanks to the lying crooks at robertson college im 7 grand in debt. And struggling to live.
and the "instructors" are nothing but straight up bullies who use subtle threats and pointless personal life stories as a means to "teach" theyre students..I regret going here!!!

Last tax season the Gov't offered a 60% rebate on all tuition completed with diploma.
You may qualify for this rebate.
Definitely worth looking into.

Good luck with moving forward.

Hi PDK,
Hope you've found success in your career so far. Did you receive any positive feedback from employers about the Robertson diploma when applying for jobs? What is an AHLA exam?
Thank you!

Hey have any of you taken the pharmacy assistant course at Robertson college? I am looking into taking that course & was hoping for a little feed back from someone who has taken it or went to that college just don't want to get screwed over & I haven't exactly read the best reviews about that college.

Thanks!

To not get screwed over don't go to the school at all. The teachers could not even teach! We lost two of them in a matter of months! They kept our class separate from everyone because we spoke up. My contract was broken, they lied, stole and screwed us over. After my course they completely redid the class because they screwed up so terribly with us. I am on practicum and for 50$ they are threatening me with collections when it is barely overdue. Everybody hates it there plain and simple and feels like they got nothing out of it.
