Really?Even though they eat Big Macs for breakfast lunch and dinner with a box of potato for dessert,drink soda pop by the gallon,abuse drugs and alcohol and sit on their butts all day?I thought this was the key to longevity.

I believe that there are some studies out there that indicate that the indigenous peoples' diet has changed dramatically in the last 150 years so as to make them vulnerable to a slew of diseases and physical changes that are unique to them.

Another factor is that, by and large, natives are poor and poor people in general are not able to afford healthy diets.

It is rare that you see a native in this town that is not grossly over weight,unless they are on crack.
