What a joke! I like the final sentence of the article the best though. All they want is to be treated like every other Canadian. OK, does that include the part where you have to pay taxes, have no opportunity "given" to you, that you would actually have to work for, just like every other Canadian? How about when that treaty cheque disappears? Most Canadians don't get that. If these people were treated like every other Canadian, they'd be complaining daily that their being oppressed and treated unfairly by the white man. Oh wait, that's what they do now. This will never change along with the "gimme, gimme" sense of entitlement that most natives believe is "owed" to them. It's completely pathetic that it's still happening.

The reason that our forefathers built walls around their settlements was to keep out thieves and scoundrels.

We still have those thieves and scoundrels but we are no longer protected by walls unfortunately.

In my day and age we didn't put up with this nonsense. The native peoples were plenty happy on the reserves and the white people worked in the cities, towns and on the farms. Nobody complained and there wasn't security and cameras in your face wherever you went. Everything was in one language, that's it. Didn't need no welfare state, everybody pulled his weight, jeez my old La Salle ran great. Nowadays all you see are piles of garbage and dog doo everywhere. Bunch of freaks walk around with piercings everywhere and covereed in tattoos. The girls act, dress and drink like the boys. Life really stinks in today's day and age, and it's not just the dog doo.

I didn't do any of that shit.

Matter of fact, all that shit is no excuse for sitting on your collective asses collecting welfare and having a sense of entitlement.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Virgo

You have a very high opinion of a certain person today, believing that they can do no wrong. But how realistic are you being? It looks as though you're viewing the world through rose-colored glasses, which is fine if it's only a temporary state but quite another matter if you're deliberately ignoring problems and pretending that they don't exist.
