This is a wonderful idea for the DIBC. They thought it was years ago and purchased the land rights. Timing is perfect and $7 per ride is pretty steep. However, people should be happy for the quicker service and the capability of carrying more loads over faster. It certainly will bring more traffic to the island and that might be a downside for some. Still, at $7 people probably won't joy ride over to fish. Plus, the Marouns need an outlet for some of their cash.
