Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder says he's considering an "interlocal agreement" between state government and Canadian officials to get a new international bridge built across the Detroit River.

That's a pipe dream, don't believe it. If another bridge were needed don't you think private enterprise would have gotten involved long ago?

The flow of drugs and prostitutes need their own crossing it seems to me ?

Private enterprise is involved and wants to fund a new bridge. Snyder refuses to let that happen. And others besides Matty would build something if land use and permits could be secured.

I don't know what this "interlocal" agreement might be. It sounds like some way of going around the legislature that turned him down on his bridge proposal.
