Appalachian Lighting to debut new LED streetlights in Canada
Ellwood City's Appalachian Lighting Systems scored a major, $2.3 million contract with the Canadian city of Welland, Ontario, to replace all of its street lighting with LEDs.

Wonder if they have the same issues with icing like the led traffic lights had/have?? The led based stoplights don't put out as much heat so during ice storms the lights froze over and couldn't be seen.
