Canadian city to stop dumping untreated sewage

For years, the British Columbia capital of Victoria has dumped tens of millions of gallons of raw sewage every day into the waters separating Washington state and Vancouver Island.The resulting bad publicity stood in contrast to the city of prim and proper homes, shops, gardens and tea rooms worthy of its royal namesake.

Smelly ,yes,but mostly organic ;separate the toxic oil,paints etc.
Stanwick,r.VIHA head health guy advises as do most Univ. specialists that present disposal need not be changed.The outfallisnutrient rich .
The localconstructionbiz is wanting the cash from construction ,private firmsmostly, from Ottawa.Being private cos'for the most part we the taxpayers won'tknow the profittereing,ever.
The cost per household,evenn renters will pay will be like allresidents regarless of income,etc.paying to the constructors.
