They would not be considwered corporate boogeymen if were paying you enough money to make you rich too. My conscience and probably most other people's consciences would be smoothed over with a couple of million or billion dollats in the bank account. Don't be a stick in the mud, become rich and powerful and have the good life when the opportunity shows up. Your principles are not going to keep you fed, warm, and luxurious.

I agree 100% with SocialistBS. Take the money Enbridge is throwing at you, so we can all get rich shipping our oil to Asia.

I am a Victoria BC citizen and I would like to distance myself from the other socialist left wing nut bags that seem to make up a large portion of the BC culture. Many of us feel we are stuck in a socialist hell hole out on the western most coast of Canada. I have never been so shamefully associated with such anti wealth and success people on Earth! They don't want anyone to make money and want to stay poor and suck off the tax payers' welfare system and its freebies. Sell the oil and whatever else product to foreign countries, but don't sell the companies to foreign investors and countries. Canada must maintain majority control of the means of production. Would Microsoft be such a big corporation if they had sold the rights to Windows instead of merely licensing Windows to IBM in 1981?
yeah make us all poor

The other anti wealth and success Victoria/BC people don't speak for me. I wouldn't want them to speak for me or I may get lumped together with them. They can suck off of welfare freebies. I do want to sell the oil products to the world, but not the means of production to any foreigners. I want Enbridge and every other energy company to help make me rich and dumps millions, billions of dollars on me and others like me. Oh yeah! Show me the MONEY baby!

BC and especially Victoria the capital seems to be allergic to riches, success, and power. There is a entrenched culture or pandering to the unproductive, bleeding hearts. They seem to want to get more poor or stay at the same level of poor than to get rich. The place will stay broke and dead beat, dead end as long as they maintain that socialist thinking.

BC, Victoria probably wouldn't be as poor if more British Columbia people were more business minded and had killer money making instincts instead of socialist, lazy, and a bunch of slackers? All of BC could be a much wealthier and powerful province if the socialists and environmentalist, welfare attitudes were not in the way of wealth generation. BC should be more like Alberta and Saskatchewan on their rising. BC is declining from have to have not. Even Newfoundland's Hibernia oil fields is starting to get it wealthier, from have not to have province. BC has a systemic cultural talent for snatching poverty from the jaws of wealth, snatching defeat from the mouth of victory, etc.
