Alien sighting

I couldn't believe it myself but there it was.
A large fireball type thing sizzling by overhead!
Right beside Polson Park in the rain yesterday.
My friend said that it was caused by the trees touching the powerlines.
I looked for powerlines and there aren't any for quite aways .
It looked like a small meteorite and I didn't see it hit the ground at all.
Maybe it came from the Armybase I don't know.
