This is a tragedy of epic proportions! That section of Rutherford between Ilan Ramon and Thornhill Woods Dr. Is well know to be poorly lit, without sidewalks and a safe heaven for speeding cars. The city has done nothing about this for years. The synagogue members are basically taking a chance with their life every-time they enter or exit a service. This is outrageous! Now they have secured the feared result, a member of the community has died.
