Hey , i remember in the 90's and the early 2000's you used to go to a bar and usually have no problems meeting people , but now , like nobody hooks up anymore! This city needs Viagra put in its water supply or anything .Yes , they are a lot of sexy people, but it seems like the "DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS " thing you learnt in Grade 2 seems to apply in your 20's and 30's also! That is what you get when you get crime out of control and a justice system that is run like a daycare. People become very apprehensive of one another and stop talking to each other out of fear.
Really, this sorry excuse of a city (wait until after the Olympics next year - this is only the tip of the iceberg), needs a HUGE reality check and people here have to sober up long enough to see that this aint a great place to live!

don't know who you are talking to. you used the word 'chink' and you talked about 1000 Hans killed, i guess you are referring to the recent riot in Urumqi, China.

don't forget there are well over one million Canadians who are of Chinese origin in your country Canada, if you hate some much Chinese, it means you are hating your own country and countrymen. you and Chinks share the same country don't you, then are you any better?

Okay, I lived in Vancouver for almost eight fun-filled years, and moved back east because I had had enough. Then I had to move back! So, I moved to the North Shore, which is somewhat more quite but more conservative than Vancouver. But since I put up with eight years of shit and abuse (including being assaulted in Kits), I feel like complaining.
Vancouver sucks. The people suck, the weather sucks, the lack of upholding the law sucks, and there is nothing to do. I wouldn't mind the f*cking rain so much if Vancouver had any interesting qualities about it, but it doesn't. Unless you're part of Lululemon you're shit and don't deserve to live.
I would like to see all the really cool people--the ones who don't have their heads up their assess, to get on a flight and fly away watching as Vancouver is sucked into the ground. That would turn this frown upside down!

canada's immigration policy sucks. people are talking about immigration will get another million from 3rd world countries into vancouver very soon, what? what for? the society and economy is not ready to absorb that kind of population growth. it only causes problems when hundreds of new comers pour into this city from every corner of the world, and end up.. there will only be more cultural clashes and crimes. not good for the immigrants themselves either. Canada's immigration is a big scam. Vancouver sucks, at least partly due to the stupidity of this immigration thing.
