flight centre canada! no great deals just a ripp off

In brief, Craig was told over the phone that some flight tickets he was looking to purchase had an indefinite return date. He didn’t think that sounded right, so he double-checked and the staff at Flight Centre confirmed it to be true. So he bought the tickets only to find out (too late) that they expired after a year. Now Flight Centre are denying that they told him the tickets were indefinite and now also accusing him of lying!
Hopefully people will read Craig’s story and make sure they have written confirmation of the details before paying for tickets. And perhaps if you read the story you may also consider not dealing with Flight Centre in the first place, as their customer service (full details in the original blog post) have been appalling!
I booked my tickets for my recent trip to London with Zuji and have nothing but praise for them.

THIS COMPANY IS THE BIGGEST RIPP OFF. DO NOT BOOK YOUR VACATION WITH THEM. THEY HAVE PROVIDED FALSE AND MISLEADING INFORMATION IN ORDER TO GET YOUR BUSINESS

Yup the ppl are so right they overcharged me at the airpost and screwed up my vacation completely you should never fly or take a vacation with flightcentre.ca

I guess we have to be careful. Sometimes lied to on purpose and perhaps sometimes through ignorance.I have also heard complaints about Flight Center. Has anyone here used Flight Network? I have a couple friends who had good luck, but would like to hear from others.

Stay the hell away from these Flight Center people. They left me stranded in Tokyo on a multi-trip ticket. Id missed a foward flight to Manila and as a result they cancelled everything including my return ticket home!!! I didnt even think such a thing was legal. Never will i use this company again. As someone else pointed out already, they wont hesitate to lie simply to up their sales stats. Stay well away!!!

I recently dealt with flight centre through someone's recommendation and let me tell you their service was just the WORST. I was not told of the FULL terms and conditions applied for a car rental, and my friends and i ended up paying extra on what we were promised to. On top of that, whatever we promise to pay individually when we were at the office was all a bunch of bs. they re-did our charges and my friend was ended up over charged an extra $500 when I paid $500 less.
When we called up their manager to deal with this, they either put us on hold or hang us up in the midst of the conversation. On top of all that, they put the blame on me- their customer, stating that they had notified me of everything and that it was my fault for NOT remembering such conversation and that they are not held responsible. seriously, this is the most unprofessional and rude customer service i've ever seen. I will NEVER go back there AGAIN!!! and neither should ANYONE go there!!!!! you will regret it i swear.

I had a very similar thing happen. After going through many different people at there company, store level, then head office level, the blame was always shifted to everyone else but them, even on me at one point... even though they did not book the vacation properly, and we had statements from many people at the service they were supposed to book, saying they did not book it properly... it was still everyone else's fault.
Total joke of a company. I wouldn' t recommend them. There are so many others out there that I will never have to book through them again. You can find the vacations through other far more reputable, local agents.

Now just getting the word out there to hurt their business, as I am certain I will not be getting my money owed back out of them.
