Property Manager Problems?

We refer to them as BAYMISMANAGEMENT, and our situation is quite similar. Except, instead of taking anyone out for lunch, Baywest and their lawyers just ask our strata council and intimidated owners to bend over and drop their pants. They do so happily and management and their lawyer DOUGAN and ACCESS LAW, then ask the strata to bend over the other way and give it to them again. After they get it from all sides, the strata BEGS BAYWEST and ACCESS to just take any amount of money they want AND tell the strata what to do. Everyone is soooo giggly they can't stand it.....so they continue this pattern day in and day out and year in and year out....and BRUCE FRIESEN buys another boat and DOUGAN buys another third world kid and uses it for slave labour, probably as a strata manager for baywest

Recently 75% of the membership got together at the AGM and tried to remove the corrupt board. I will not even go into what happened as it is too emotionally intense an experience to even contemplate what happened. Long story short, the old Board is trying to pretend there was no election and are sending a plethora of legal threats saying that Baywest runs the Coop and we will all pay for our sins. They say that the old people will lose their subsidy and that her lawyers will sue us for defamation and that we should all "enjoy" what's coming. The woman's name is Cheryl Hollinger - she is a terrible human being in my opinion.
We are still continuing on with the Good Fight. If it ends up in court, at least I know that it will be the entire membership vs this couple and Baywest. Ridiculous.

We moved into the west end as renters to check it out before we buy. We were lucky to find this site and have been following the comments. We went to an open house on Pendrell, I think it was 1234 and it looks like a dungeon. It is black and feels dirty when you go inside and the people are really unfriendly. We asked about the management company and how the strata was run and the people said they prefer not to say....red flag, indeed! There were so many suites for sale in that building and we know why. The garbage area always hads furniture and garbage piled everywhere and smells. We also heard there was illegal activity in the building. We found out it was managed by baywest and that name by now has such a bad reputation, we will never live in a building with them, or Rancho, or Dave hensman. Please keep telling us your stories so we can make a good choice as to where to live...

You must have a lot of idle time on your hands now that you allegedly sold Teamwork Property Management. It always amazes me how queer your issues in life are. Are you a man or a ? It has become quite apparent over the years that you have come out of the closet, but your frick and frack routine is getting tiring. Are you that low of a person that all you can do is try to stir up controversy with your spins. For those of you who read this crap, Hensman told only the few strata's he managed that he sold Teamworks but the corporate search shows it is still in his name and he is still listed as of today as the managing broker with RECBC...Another day another lie.. we should start a topix forum on your NEX GEN Church and lets see what scam you have going on there. Have a nice one Dave, we are always amused at the fun you provide for us with queer approach to demeaning others. Isn't there a charity you should start?

Again this year Rancho Managment has like President of the Board the caretaker. Nobody said a word.By the way the experiency that we are living in our old condo might open the eyes to everybody.keep locke the boylers,the motor of the swiming pool,the room where the transformes are.

We had Rancho for a while and we were able to control them. But once we started saying NO and questioning their Billing practices and lack of accountability, they decided we were no longer a viable option. They are pretty sketchy but nothing like the scumbags at baywest.

I wish I would have found this site sooner. Found it by searching for Phillip Dugan. What a piece of work. He gives lawyers a bad name. I feel sorry for him what pathetic sad way to earn a living.He spreads fear and mistruth while earnign his coin from unsavoury property management companies. I hope the truth comes out on this individual very soon. Sadly when it comes to the legal realm, money is everything. For the most part the strata property managment area is a horrible mess one to be avoided. I would never advise anyone to buy into a strata of any kind!When you hear the name Philip Dugan run or hire your an ethical lawyer.

We are with the same amount of monthly strata fees for 4 years and we think that we can run and other year,this is a job of a good board,control,control,control even if is people that do not like the word.We have Dotwell like property manager company aceptable job.Rancho Manager in the other property that we have increase in a NEW property the fees in two years in 35 per cent.

Hear! Hear! Dougan has been a lawyer for 2 minutes and is Baywest's lawyer and has become our strata lawyer as well. He runs our AGMs ILLEGALLY but our strata lets him because they don't have a combined spine among them. He makes sure nobody gets any honest answers about the accounting and threatens anyone with police action if they dare tell him to follow the rules.
Our strata is so stupid that they don't realize that the day our strata decided to take action against baywest and want dougan's help, he will tell them that he cannot represent our strata because he's on retainer for baywest, and then our strata will be up sh... creek. Funny how the word LAWYER and LIAR sound the same and are definitely interchangeable in dougan's case.
