Ask 100 Canadians where they would like to live (Canada or U.S.) and most will say Canada.
Now look into the minds of those 100 people: they would all choose to live in America in a second if they could! But they'd never admit it!
Suck it, Canadians! You know it's true. You're adorable, though, seriously.
While that may be true for some Canadians don't assume it's all Canadians. If America is such a better place, then why do so many Americans come here for vacation- especially from your area- New York. Also Americans do move here as well and not all because of necessity- I've worked with some who chose to move here by mere choice. There are pros and cons to living in both countries but to assume all Canadians would rather live in America is wrong. You can believe that all Canadians want to live in America, to make yourself feel better, but it's not true.

America's time has passed, Canada is the better, more stable, more cultured country. It's actually quite clear. Greed, arrogance and ignorance has made quite an acidic country. It's tragic, cause you could be great America. I hope you come around. You're our bigger, uglier, meat-headed unsophisticated brother. But that doesn't mean we don't want you to be something.

I think America is better because the day we celebrate our country (4th of July) is not only a day to celebrate our country but our independence and freedom, and that we're not still the queen's bitch. So Canada, if you wouldn't mind, would you and your "Canada Day" please take a seat and accept your loss. May I also add, this is only one of the infinite reasons America is better than Canada. One more, which should settle this whole argument, Canada brought us Bieber, Nickelback, and Avril Levine, I think the winner here is obvious.

The Queen no longer rules Canada. So there is no loss to be accepted.

Ask the parents of the dead kids in Connecticut where they would have preferred to live 6 months before their kids were gunned down in cold blood.

The Police States of Amerika is a demilitarized zone.

Plain and simple. Both country's are vast nations with many great things about both... Only major differences are that Canadians are super polite and nice. Americans, you are assholes. No offence but you gotta admit it, any brown person there is a terrorist lol. And the most important difference between the 2 country's. Canada grows better weed and brews stronger beer

America is the best country there is! To those who said we're fat Simpson looking characters your clearly being judgmental which voids the argument of Americans being pig headed but Canadians are not. Also to Farsad how ignorant to say we kill over oil! If all we cared about was money or cheap oil saddam would still be alive killing his citizens and invading other middle eastern countries. He offered us insanely low oil prices for as long as he was alive, but us being the super power of the world set an example and stood up against terrorists. Where we're you Canada? Also the united states maintains a steady supply of oil by protecting middle eastern countries that much is a fact. As is the fact that EVERYOTHER COUNTRY includding canada uses the oil we protected with our troops. Lastly George W. Bush did a good job with the hand he was dealt. How would you react knowing your people were under attack for simply being Canadian? For us Americans 9/11 is a true tragedy we all sympathies with and share in the pain of those lost. God Bless The U.S.A.

Try coming up here and fighting us, you'd all be complaining about your tiny nuts freezing to your legs.
We remain the ONLY country to successfully infiltrate and take Washington DC, we fucking burned the White House down for gods sake!
Not to mention if war started, you'd be the ones to start it, and we'd be the ones with more backup.
And to add to the entire thread, the majority of OUR lands are not covered in CONCRETE
Funny that you think that. America engineers most of our own technology, we don't get it from Canada... Also America has the best trained soldiers in the world that's a fact we teach our soldiers how to deal with all climates, Canada would be a walk in the park comparred to Iraq. Asfar as more back up no one would back Canada over America just a fact, and if they did it wouldn't matter seeing how our military is larger and better trained than the next 8 combined. Also Canada do you have nukes? Cause we do and we're the only country to use them in real combat. America Wins

I can agree that you have very well trained soldiers but how is it a fact that they are the best in the world? Do you think you are the only military that trains in all climates? If America is the worlds best in all fields then why do they cross train with other countries?

We cross train so we stay the best trained soldiers in the world. Other countries have strong techniques for dealing with unique situations, we incorporate those techniques into ours to improve our training. Also it helps to give other countries some of our experience so they stand a chance in a fight of their own against tyranny. We can't fight everyone's battles for them but we can help prepare them.

I thought you were implying that you are the best so you can't learn from other countries- my mistake. So you can agree that you and other countries can learn valuable training methods from each other? What do you think of the F-35- is it worth the cost?

No F-35's are not worth the cost. From what I just learned they are not as stealth capable as an F-22 Raptor, also the F-35 is much more vulnerable to enemy attacks, aswell as likely to explode if hit by lightning. In addition to those defaults the cost is astonishingly high and the F-35 can not rapidly descend to low altitude. I am by no means familiar with the F-35 that is what I just read about it.

To all the friendly people of beautiful North America. Canada, we respect that you have the most culturally diverse city in the world with over 160 different nationalities and counting. There is admiration for your countries natural beauty and consideration for wildlife and healthcare. The topic of which country is better is subjective at best and the conversation is not about the "Down South" of America where country folk are less educated, and impoverished because of their remote living, or about how population increase and large Mega cities of the United States crime is higher than others. Some of us Americans retain sympathy, and emotion toward the world and it's inhabitants. Others suffer from ignorance, complacency, and apathy. The world today is influenced by American culture, tastes, movies, cars, television, the need to refine crude oil because few have the capacity. More than any other time in the worlds history we are facing serious challenges. Sitting on the couch and living a sedentary lifestyle seems synonymous with family guy, and south park, and that there is the influence to blame for such ignorant, unsolicited talk such as on this blog.

Nice try Terry. We went to war against the British for a second time (The Revolutionary War being the first) and won.

Google the Treaty Of Ghent. Oh and the Burning Of York.

Finally check the Calendar it's not 1812 anymore.

Canada's good for a laugh and that's about it.

Enjoy your insignificance losers.
