I want to express my gratitude for the very professional and courteous services Carefree Moving provided my company. From the initial consultation prior to the move, where you guided us on how to prepare the move, to the execution – everything perfect Your personnel was on time, the equipment they brought was very complete, your people were very knowledgeable, careful and very polite. The movers took all the stress out of the equation and made the whole service on time and without causing any damage to the goods or to the installations. I definitively will recommend your services to any company who needs to move and be operational in the shortest time possible ( www.carefreemoving.ca )
Thank you
Amanda

I COMPLETELY DISAGREE! i ordered a last minute move they were an hour and a half late. 1 of the 2 movers was little b**** complaining that things were too heavy and talking about his phone and other nonsense. He was also claiming that the other mover, Arnold, was the expert stacker and he himself AJ or LG whatever his name was just dealt with numbers well. They told me a fee of $275 then when the guys eventually showed up they charged $25 to shrink wrap items $10 disassemble.. Out was a horrible 5 hour experience NEVER AGAIN.

Thank you so much Jessica!
ontrek movers are really the best movers in toronto!
I found them off your review posting and decided to try them out.
The move went perfectly smooth and the movers were great.
I was skeptical about booking movers again since our last experience with
"two men and truck" went so horribly wrong 3 years ago.
Again, thank you ontrek moving for such an great moving experience.
A+ Review for ontrek movers.
I would recommend this company to all my friends and colleagues and if anyone is here
is looking for reliable toronto movers, visit www.ontrekmoving.com
PS: Thanks jack for those extra wardrobe boxes, they really came in use!

SCAMMED out of $400 from FORTE MOVERS!! Long overdue review, I really just tried to forget this horrible day of my life! I hired a company on kijiji last summer to move my belongings to my new house 3 hours away. After weeks of talking to Daniel on the phone it was all set up. He was kind of rude on the phone and didn't explain much but he quoted me $600. The day of the move, these two young hooligans showed up 2 hours late, squealing their tires into my driveway. The truck was white and just said "movers" on the side. They came into my building, No apology for being late, and were cursing and swearing and acting like complete fools. I should've told them to get lost but we were on a schedule and didn't have time to hire anyone else last minute. They asked for a deposit of $400 and I signed the form. Stupid me. They literally tossed my belingings into the truck! Well i did everything myself as they were the laziest dumbasses Ive ever met! Also they put a 2 ft hole in my armoire and damaged a few other items. As we were giving them the address they demanded $1200 before they would move the truck. Daniel was no longer answering our phone calls .. The two idiot fuck heads sat in the car and smoked a joint while we unloaded all our belongings onto the front lawn. We called the cops and they took off.. Never to be heard of again... With my $400. Luckily Uhaul had one more truck to rent. Complete nightmare! Do not hire anyone that sounds like this! They could be using a different name now.

I just want to add... These people who scammed me had the paperwork titled "FORTE MOVERS" I shouldn't assume it's actually forte moving company. They are scam artists and could very well use a phoney company name.

DO NOT USE IMOVE CANADA
Imove Canada is the worst moving company I have ever had to deal with. They are running a scam that is tantamount to extortion. We called several moving companies and because we wanted to move on a certain date, as I was taking off work, we did not pick the cheapest one. Unfortunately, we did not do our research as this company has way more complaints than any other. We made a deal with Imove for 3 guys for $90 an hour with appliances included (we provided a list before quote), with a $70 truck charge starting at 9AM.

9:30 no movers so we phone in and are told they will be there in 15 min. Only 2 guys show up at 9:45 and that’s when the scam starts. After reviewing the move items, the lead mover told us the appliances are not included and are usually $150 per appliance (7X$150=$1,050), a $70 truck charge and it would take 6 hours. We had moved most everything and put all the big stuff for the movers in an easy accessible area and we were moving 2 blocks over (2 min drive). We tried to phone the office to talk to the boss about the agreed deal but he would not answer the phone. We called more than 50 times over an hour but no response. This is where the extortion starts. The guys on sight drop the price to $300 cash for the appliances but still no answer from the company. They obviously run this scam as per usual. They figured we were stuck because the gas and other utilities had been turned off. We made a deal with another company for $69 and hour and $100 for all appliances. It will take less than 4 hours. In short Imove Canada was going to cost me $790+tax and the new company will cost me $460+tax.

I used ONTREK for my moving about a month, in March and they were good. I can recommend this company. They were honest and efficient. They came at the agreed time and they even saved me of using a scam moving company.
The driver, however, 15 minutes before our stimated time was over, told me that we were going to need more time ($) but after I said, well still 15 more minutes and just a couple of other things to be brought up otherwise just leave them in the moving room but 2 the end they brought everything up and there was no need of extra time/extra money.
The service was good and I was satisfied

Please never use AMS transportation services and Relocation services Canada. Same company they hide under alias names so you will not see their D rating on the Better business Bureau. They took our deposit and stole over 30,000 of our belongings, we have not seen our delivery. SCAM and now has to go to court.
I moved many times and never experienced anything like this. for long distance use Alero moving they are excellent

Hired these guys to move an old relative...WHAT A DISASTER!!!

They showed up 1.5 hours late, by which time we had moved all the stuff as we no longer had the elevator.
Smaller truck than promised.
They provided no furniture coverings or garment boxes as promised.
They spent a lot of time on personal calls...while still working.
The 'uniformed' workers wore dirty golf shirts...nothing like the picture on the ad
The final bill was more than double the original estimate, and full of math errors. For example, on $300 they charged $90 HST!
They charged for moving a sofabed, which did not exist.
Have tried many times to contact the owner and he won't take my calls now.

DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!!

I definitely had a different exasperating experience. Booked OnTrek Moving..even had a confirmation call from them the day before the move. The day of the move they were a NO SHOW! Called them and the dispatch said she would have the drivers call me with their ETA. There was no call. Made several attempts to call them back and dispatch would not answer the phone or return any of my answering machine messages. They did not even have the courtesy to call and explain the obvious cancellation. My daughter and I had to move the apartment contents downstairs as our elevator was booked for a certain time slot. We still needed a truck...so through Kijiji we located "ManwithABigVan" who was able to help. He was awesome and highly recommended!!!
Through my terrible experience I have to say DO NOT use OnTrek Moving as they proved to be totally unreliable!!
