I was recently in Toronto and read your article in the Toronto Sun. Most people think the cause is related to poor dental hygeine. I was impressed, by the fact that the article mentioned other causes of halitosis, namely, as digestive problems, I think this in part is contributing to my current problem, which is becomming progressively worse and a source of continuing embarassment. The article also mentioned a conference, set to occur, in Chicago this month. I would appreciate any feed back you could offer. Thank You very much.

try useing Vitamin C (Sugarless) 500mg. At least 4 a day if not more. I slowly suck on 4 tablets a day and have noticed a difference immediately with bad breath and post nasal drip. But give at least 2 weeks. Some people don't see a difference right away

One way to get rid of bad breath is to try out different types of toothpaste. I personally use Cuprident - it's this non-toxic, fluoride free toothpaste that does a great job of keeping my breath fresh. Here's a link to the site - that'll help elucidate how it works better than I ever could:

I would suggest trying out one type of toothpaste - tooth gel from Therabreath by Dr. Katz. I tried it myself and it worked wonders - I never have dry mouth and that bitter/metallic taste in the mouth that tends to develop after I eat. Their products contain does not contain saccharin which creates a bitter after taste and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (the ingredient that causes a lot of foam) which can cause canker sores. You can brush longer without these ingredients.

More info can be found at http://www.therabreath.com .

I had disgusting breath for years. I had no friends and even family keep me at a distance.
I was flossing brushing and rinsing everyday but still had bad breath. I spent thousands on all kinds of products claiming to stop bad breath but still had bad breath. I came across Oraltech Labs and it gave me my first insight into my problem. After I did all the advice from Oraltech Labs it identified Post Nasal Drip as the primary issue with eating and cleaning as the oral problem.
So I was happily surprised when my brother asked the following week why my breath didnt smell any more, I told him what Id done hes like thank god for Oraltech!
Now 6 months later I have my first girlfriend and worked up enough courage to tell her about what I was like just 1 year ago. She said I smelt better then any other boyfriend shed had. Music to my ears! http://www.oraltech.com.au
