Surrey B.C. has become over the years....divided. There is the west side of King George HWY. which is about 85% Hindu.( Yes I know they are not all Hindu's from India, But we are not all just White people from Canada.) And the east side of KGH. which is a mix of everything else. I would like to open a debate over why it is this way, and what are the rest of us willing to do about it. It was tough to think about what the 1st topic would be, but I will go ahead with this one.
Lately all over the lower mainland I have been seeing the Hindu's walking around town wearing shirts that claim SINGH IS KING. Now why is this an acceptable slogan to wear on your back in public? Think about it the other way if I was to wear a shirt saying WHITE POWER. I probably would be looked at as the reincarnation of Hitler. Singh is not just a name to them its another way to be identified as being Hindu. Now when there saying "KING" I'm guessing that still holds its traditional meaning "to rule over people." So I view this as being just a different way of saying BROWN POWER. My question to you is what would you do or say to someone wearing that shirt standing in front of you in a line up at the bank?

"Singh is King" is a movie! " Singh" is a name significant to the Sikh religion not the Hindu religion. Got nothing to do with Brown power! Sikhism is a minority religion in India . There are way more Christians than Sikhs in India You really need to educate your mind rather speaking out of ignorance!
