: "First and foremost, the dogs are a hook for handouts. Ask any panhandler if their daily take is higher with or without a dog, and they will tell you the dog brings lots of bucks. The dog is being used to pry donations from a very gullible public. "
This be the same hook the BCSPCA uses every single day to solicit their donations they even paid Sarah McLaughlin to help in their never ending greed for more money , The BCSPCA is no better than any Panhandler they just don't like any competition for the generous public that is why the BCSPCA would never use any other type of animal in their adds as beggers it is always some type of a puppy or kitten always something cute for their own panhandler efforts. the BCSPCA has now been taken over by the professional fundraising PETA people it is no longer about the animals just the money.

Peta, just one comment... Ed doesn't ask for handouts for himself or his dogs.

Ed is being bullied by the City of Surrey whose bylaw officers come by regularly with RCMP back-up and seize his belongings. His dog is paralyzed and is not being used as a "hook." This situation is a far cry from SPCA tactics used to raise money.

Ed does not ask for handouts. Quite the opposite-
he very reluctantly accepts help. The situation
is very complex, with the provincial government
to blame, for not providing low-income housing, for
low welfare rates, etc. Gordon Campbell has a lot
to answer for.

Ed has been offered a job and place to live that takes his dogs... he refuses them both preferring to remain a spectacle on the street...

Try going to Timmy's on 88th and Fraser. You can't walk in there without being bugged for change. The place is pretty much homing pigeon for junkies...some of them have even gone inside and pissed people off.

There's also a real lame guy working there who cleans tables and talks to himself. He annoys people with meaningless converstions about his boring life; "My cat watches me take a crap!" "I drink alone every night!" Seriously! a 28 year old grown man, working minimum wage, drinking beer alone in mommy's basement with no friends? Come on.

Raymond is still locked up in that stinking municipality of Surrey franchise spca dog jail.

They won't let me see him, and the next Court date is November 02, 2009 in Surrey.

Call Bob Busch @ the BC spca head office as he has banned all my calls or emails.

Call the spca media spokesperson also at that number...

Search Ed Chase cbc, watch 2 minute 14 second video by A. Waterman on top right side of page.

Those other comments are correct aside from Robert's.

The municipality of Surrey"s non stop theft wore off on a guy at the gas station across the street who participated on his own.

Was that you Robert?

Bob Busch blocks our emails after his Victoria manager took our healthy three year old dog that was brought in only for readoption only, out of the back of our car and immediately killed it. No assessment was done no contacting the owner just driven off and killed at Elk Lake Vet.We had advertised on used Victoria to find him a home and they emailed us and promised they would find him a healthy home if we brought him back. Do not take any dogs to them.
