I would think that the chances of your husband or son being charged are marginal - why? Because they would know better than to hang out with a couple of thirteen year old girl children for more than 5 minutes. If everyone knows that the girl is unstable that might come in as a factor too.
But, in this case - the supposed perpetrator is pretty unstable too so why do you play up her instability and not bring up his?
In the end though you are right it will be solved by the court.
It is funny how people assume guilt, It is pretty easy for a 13 year old girl who has serious issue to say someone did this to her. Would you be so quick to judge if she accused your husband, son brother of doing this. Don’t say it would never happen, it could, this girl says this happened and everyone believes her. She is not the most credible person in the world to say the least. I think most of us forget that in Canada you are innocent until proven guilty. There have been many cases through the years of people claiming false accusations just to get the attention. I believe that is what is happening here. Stop with the mob mentality,“Take him out back and shoot him”, if it was you accused of a crime by this mentally unstable girl you would be singing a different tune.
